Good living room makeover but it looked awkward and small for a big loft. I feel like the credenza would look better on top of the radiator and the tv and couch should be interchanged. I feel it's more secure to have the tv up against a wall and use the couch as a divider between the living room and the office. Great choice of furniture and materials though.
seeing the tv like that gives me flashbacks to all the times my cat has knocked my tv off my stand hahah you guys really pulled it together! I was with you when you said it felt a little small with everything in there, but the pops of color the blues and greens brought really brightened it up and make it feel more open.

This episode just felt...off. The the end result was also off. Maybe in person it suits the space better but I didn’t think the rug matched everything else. Def didn’t match the blue and greys on the couch. Trying to mix warm and cool tones looks a bit awkward. Also how is she ever going to use the space?! Reflections and heat from the Windows is gonna be crazy!! I don’t think she really ‘vibed’ with it tbh, and neither did I. The plant shelf behind the couch also looks a bit sparse with those little plants, but I liked all the other plants around the space like next to the tv or couch.
First off, I love you guys! You bring a dynamic to creativity that is different and unique in order. Thank you for sharing your imagination. I really like the new items you received from Article and I'm going to actually check out their website to see what other things they have to offer. While I like the accent plant shelf you created, I think you should have made a credenza to cover the radiator and positioned your new couch cater-cornered facing the windows so that anyone seated could have a view of the skyline and also feel the sun pouring or the moon peeking in at night. The TV could sit on the new stand where you have the couch currently positoned. The new lamp could be placed where you have the ladder shelf and the ladder shelf could be moved to the opposite wall. These changes would place the opening to the area where you currently have the TV and a smaller one on the left side of the couch's new position. You could use your plants to accent the space with placements on the tables and atop of the new radiator cover. (And actually, you could leave the radiator visable, just paint it a different color - one pulled from the new rug.) Just a thought.
I love your little oasis corner! The green makes from the plants makes the space look cooler (i know you have lots of blues but the green makes it look more earthy) and it goes so well with the bricks and the wood... without the plants, the space just looks industrial with the black, metallic colors and the grays.. but with the plants, it’s more alive....

I'd love to see what kind of curtains you girls make for the loft living room! With the sunbeams it's super well lit, but like Kelsie said, it gets hot sitting in them and it will definitely cut a/c costs down if you put curtains in!
I actually love how the new living room turned out!! Feels so cozy! The only thing I'd add is an old leather tufted ottoman and some floor to ceiling white breezy curtains to diffuse the light. Beautiful!

The pillows feel a little cold and forced. Target has a new home decor line that has some v cute items that would make this space more cozy Also the shade of gray couch may be a tad too medium gray. Maybe a super light gray or super dark gray would have been better.

Just now got to watching the series! I like the overall vibe, but I suggest switching the couch to where the TV is and vice versa. That way you could avoid knocking over the TV and have less glare. The TV stand could act as the coffee table, and the plant shelf as the TV stand (with a little DIY). The lamp can stay where it is so you have a little reading nook where the couch would be.
It kinda felt like the areas you were changing were still great?? Like the plant nook no!! And my heart broke when you spray painted that gorgeous lamp black haha the natural colour is so much better and it’s neutral I don’t know why you changed it? The place looked cool after but I preferred the before to be honest, kinda felt like maybe you were just doing it cause article sent you stuff?

I LOVE y’all, but I didn’t love this. The rug is too small, and the space is really boxed in and limited. Bigger rug, open up the space by putting one (or maybe two) chairs opposite the radiator wall, put the tv on an angle. And honestly, as much as I love the plant sofa table, you are gonna burn up trying to chill there and get major tv glare. Either a big bamboo shade that diffuses light but still gives the plants a natural space, or just moving the living room all together. I think it would be really cool in the space under the loft. I think there may be office storage in there now...? But if you could work around it, that cozy space could really feel like Kelsey’s dedicated living room, and then you have this big open office and DIY space with lots of amazing light for filming and room to spread out. Then kitchen, bedroom, living room are all one half, office/DIY are the other half. Positive note - y’all do seem off in this vid, but I wonder if it’s because you’re working together to create this weird hybrid work/personal space. I’ve always admired how open and go with the flow Kelsey is about living where she works. I’m sure it’s mutually beneficial and makes financial sense, but I don’t think I could ever do it. Props to y’all for maintaining work/life balance! I’m almost 34 and just now am getting it figured out. Love you girls and watching you grow! Keep doing you!

I honestly don’t get why people are saying this all feels awkward... I feel like this is a pretty genuine video of them interacting, discussing, and maneuver big changes in the office. They’ve been friends for over 10 years and they now run a business together, not every single interaction is gonna be full of cute, quirky back&forth. Sometimes they just need to work lol they just happen to also have to film it all as well

If you need more office space why not use the old office space as the living room and have the TV behind the wall and use the area where the office desk was for the glass dining table. Then you'll have the whole open area free for one really big office/filming area? That way the kitchen bathroom lounge dining and upstairs area flow nicely and is kept somewhat separate for Kelsey. Just a thought. I didn't like the change of the layout for this one but still always enjoy your videos girls :)

Love that plant stand! Kelsey, great bootcut jeans! I just bought a pair and was doubting them (maybe too retro?) but seeing them on you made me decide to keep them. Also, please please please wear a mask when sanding! The fine dust will get into your lungs whether you have a vacuum attached to the sander or not.
Love this! To everyone saying the vibe felt odd, it must be pretty exhausting be "on" for a camera at all times. Every individual is dealing with their own struggles and I imagine that having to come up original and interesting content 3x a week while also managing a business weighs on a person. I guess just keep that in mind.

We have blinds! They just aren't down when we are filming most of the time! Also we love all of the additions to our plant family!

Love that plant stand! Kelsey, great bootcut jeans! I just bought a pair and was doubting them (maybe too retro?) but seeing them on you made me decide to keep them. Also, please please please wear a mask when sanding! The fine dust will get into your lungs whether you have a vacuum attached to the sander or not.

Love this! To everyone saying the vibe felt odd, it must be pretty exhausting be "on" for a camera at all times. Every individual is dealing with their own struggles and I imagine that having to come up original and interesting content 3x a week while also managing a business weighs on a person. I guess just keep that in mind.
