Finally made the decision to invest in a portable screen due to its many uses. Over the last year or so, mini-computers have been a common tech investment for people downsizing their desktop computers and for those who do not wish to add wear and tear to their laptops by keeping them on all the time. Cannot wait to not have to bring a somewhat bulky and vulnerable regular lcd screen to gigs or when setting up mini-computer systems which do not require a monitor after their initial setup. 🌺 Great vid. Informative is how I would describe this support vid.
Mine worked with one USB C cable first time I used it, then next road trip I tried it again and it won't work without both USB C and mini HDMI cables hooked up. Doesn't matter if I use my USB C to USB C or my USB A to USB C, I just get "no signal" error unless the HDMI cable is used. Very strange, even with the two USB cables connected it won't work, thinking it could get power from one and video from the other. Going to wait until I get home and try some other cables, if still not working will send in for warranty. My HP Omen has USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C™ with Thunderbolt™ 3 (40 Gb/s signaling rate, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) so it should be more than adequate to power this monitor with one cable, as it did first time I used it
Monitor did not come with an external AC power plug to plug into wall. There is np way I can power this from my Samsung cell phone. Also, Why would you include a right angle USB-C cable? It covers up the other connectors on the monitor. Also, when connected to my phone, it will not fill the entire screen in landscape mode. My phone screen is filled but the monitor has a 1" black border all the way around.
I have a VG1655 and it works fine. I just unplugged it for 20 minutes and now it shows the no signal error even though I am plugging the HDMI in? What am I doing wrong?

I would add that if phone doesn't have USB C 3 (and has 2.0 like Xiaomi phones, including 11T pro), than the phone doesn't support video output via usb C cable. I don't think there is any workaround to this issue. Right? 😅

From what I can glean from the documentation and from this vid, so long as the Sony DSLR has a video out USB-C port or a video out hdmi port and then to avoid the monitor going from a brightness of 100 to a brightness of only 15, you may wish to plug the second USB-C port to a +5 power USB adapter adapter.

Hi Kp, Yes, our portable monitors able to support Samsung Dex via HDMI/USB-C cable, we just tryied and it works. But we don't have moto ready for, so I cannot guarantyif the monitor support the app or not.
So OMFG I need 3 cables for this supposedly portable device. 1 usb c to usbc with wall plug for power BC none of my electronics has dp alt functionality, an hdmi mini cable to usbc to connect AV and a usbc to usb a so that the touchscreen works. If I am using a phone I won't have either a usb a port nor a second usbc . This is absolutely ridiculous. My electronics are from 2022--it's not like they are ancient. You should put in huge writing on the box that this product only works with 2024 models with dp alt or else you are sol
Sorry guys. Totally worthless. I just purchased a TD2423d and I have just wasted over 4 hours trying EVERYTHING to get the touch to work. Watched on the videos, read completely the manual, and have set and reset everything. This goes back in the morning.
They didn’t mention that model in there. So you should maybe look for a video where they specify that model instead of bitching. That’s like getting a Big Mac and complaining that it doesn’t look like a quarter pounder. That’s not what you ordered

The toggle switch which was mentioned and you failed to address is a cheap piece of crap that breaks easily or doesmt work well.
