I prayed to Jesus. I weeped and prayed because a loved one of mine was dying. The chances were slim to none. And Jesus answered my prayers. The lord saved my father. In my heart I will always walk close to God. Jesus Christ is our savior, amen 🙏.
No matter how bad it is ... with Jesus there is hope. Our God can raise the dead.

Saying, "No, no" sometimes and all that. I have watched it at least ten times and I just marvel at it! My son and I watch animé together (it's our Thang)... This is such a beautiful, powerful scene. I love when Jesus is praying beside Nilli's bed and gets a little smile on His face as His Father grants His request to bring her back to life.

My wife and I binge watched all of the episodes while on vacation. My bible reading had become so stagnant , uh none and after each episode I WANTED TO READ THE BIBLE and consider my life's purpose. Wow. Praise God !!!!!

I love “the chosen” this show has been so fundamental in my life. Especially when I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior 3 years ago. I grew up catholic but I never had a relationship with God. My life has changed ever since.
I recently went back to the Catholic Church, also thanks to the Chosen.

The chosen is so helpful especially for new believers to really know how Jesus would have been at the time and the also the different perspectives and opinions about him through the eyes of those who followed him as well those who despised him. Then consider.....no other relegious leader ever proclaimed to be God or God's son...no other did what He did for humanity. Just ask Him to show you who He is and to know Him. He gave His life and holy, precious Blood to redeem us from sin and darkness in this world ...only believe!!!!

Yes… it shows Jesus’s joy, His connection with our Father and His unwavering faith… but it also manages to show His love for everyone, even for those who oppose Him.

Love this! I had never read this story is much detail or even heard about this story much and I was so happy to see The Chosen portraying something in such an authentic way and showing us how they rlly must have felt in that situation and showing their real emotions. This is one of many depiction of Jesus. There are many movies. One was the three part series, Jesus of Nazareth. The resurrection scene there is just as beautiful too.

Amen 🙌 I watched this very scene in the full episode last night & it didn't make me cry (I think I was more focused on the details of the sets, the multiple intertwined storylines (after all the healing of Veronica hits pretty hard which rather dilutes the impact of the Jairus narrative) & the acting than I was on the emotional impact of this scene, so seeing it in isolation this morning allowed me to have the genuine sincere reaction 😮🥺😭😭😭
