thanks for the magnetic adapter tip. I bought a smilar one...TOPK umd61 magnetic cables for charging. now i got 2 cables and a heck of a lot of magnetic ports (bought separately) as my go to.

The Riimo IR blaster is getting some really bad reviews and feedback. For some reason they have removed the apk file for the Android app. The QR code on the box goes to an empty Dropbox link. Most of the comments aren't good, in the indiegogo site. Several aren't working for Android or iPhpne users . Also, after being promised Android compatability and releasing a comparable phone list, doesn't do any good, when they make the app unavailable and won't reapond to questions, comments or emails about the issue.

the Chinese counterpart works great and costs around 1 or 2 $
Satwik Satpathy what app works with it for Android? All the Android apps are written for phones that have an IR blaster built in and have no way to control a blaster in the headphone plug

It works on both, but remember, most androids have an ir blaster, which does the same thing

I was a very happy user of that IR plug with my iPhone 6. I really wish one existed that worked with the lightning port, using the same form factor.
my xiaomi 5X has an IR blaster built into the top of the phone. I didn't realise how useful it'd be actually, one of my favourite features now

OMG #1. It can wear out... But I loved mine and you wont wanna remove the magnetic part cause its addicting. It stopped me from bending my cord and breaking it... But still eventually I couldn't get it to charge but this looks fun with all of the sizes there are to charge with...

The Galaxy S8 didnt come out until around the time this video came out. So give or take a few weeks ordering it, the phone might not have been out yet. Not to mention the products were made prior to that phone
the magnetic cable is impressive.
I have a harmony app that lets me control my tv, console or any other device exept for mobile things. And its great with quite a long distance and its fast with the connection. 👍
lol im using that charger rn... wouldnt recommend it if you use your phone while its charging
I have one too, it falls off. Also you will need to buy a couple cords or the cord must travel with you. I had to charge up and forgot my cord. That plug is really hard to remove, the third time I had to remove it it broke. Very nice idea though, thought it would be great to not damage charger ports. But if all the phone companies got together and made it a built in, that would be awesome!

+Unboxing Therapy, make sure you set the device volume to max using that ir blaster, if its anything like the cc reader my mother has for her phone/ipad, it wont work well if its not got max power.

what ever happened to IR blasters built into phones and tablets? there was an IR blaster as a stock feature on the Samsung galaxy tab 2.0 with a b built in remote app from Samsung.
The LGV10 had an IR blaster. The remote worked perfectly aswell. IMO they should be a necessity on Phones
they are very handy, especially when you can't find the actually remote
