Welcome to my Beats studio buds user guide and tutorial. In this video I’m going to show you how to setup, use and even customize the settings of the Beats studio buds, so stay tuned!
Whether you use an iPhone or and android phone pairing the beats studio buds is really simple. I’ll be demonstrating the paring process using an iPhone, but it’s the same for any android phone or tablet running Android 6.0 or higher. When they’re new out of the box just open the case lid and hold them close to your phone, in a moment you’ll get on screen instructions popping up in a card on the bottom third of the screen. Just press connect and it’s done.
To use the Beats studio buds is really simple. There is no off or on button, once setup, just take them out of the case and put them in your ears. They should auto connect to the device you set them up on. If for some reason they don’t auto connect then you can manually select them in your devices bluetooth menu to connect. When you’re finished using them, just put them back in the case, there’s no need to turn them off as they do that on their own!
The on device controls offer basic content control and the ability to switch through the 3 noise control options. You can use either side to control the buds. Press the button once to play, double press to FF, triple press to go back. Press and hold to cycle through the noise control options.
Checking the battery is pretty simple as well. On your iPhone you can check the battery using the battery widget whether in today view or on your home screen. On your android device just load up the beats app, in the device screen, the battery level is shown below the image of the headphones. You can also get a vague idea about the charge by using the status light on the case. When the case battery is less than 40% charged, the LED on the front turns red. To charge the beats studio buds just plug them in to any usb c charger.
To adjust the volume you’ll need to use your phone in most cases. If you’re using them with an iPhone you can use Siri to change the volume by saying something like “Hey Siri, turn up the volume”. Or You can also specify a percentage by saying something like “hey siri, set volume to 60%”. Just like AirPods, if you’re using them with your iPhone and have an apple watch, you can also adjust the volume using the now playing app on your apple watch as well.
To customize or adjust the settings of the Beats studio buds is pretty simple as well. Make sure you’re wearing your beats studio buds and that they are active! For android devices, run the beats app and in the device screen, scroll to see your connected device’s available settings. On iPhone open your iPhones settings app, then tap bluetooth. Then choose the circled “I” beside the beats studio buds on the list.
First is the Device name option, to rename your beats studio buds just tap to open the screen to make the change. Once complete just press done at the Botton and then back. Next you have the Noise control options, this is another way to switch between them besides pressing and holding the button on the buds. Then there is the option to customize what happens on each ear bud when you press and hold the button for each one left and right individually. Not much in the way of options though, just the default option to cycle through the noise control options or siri. Beneath that you have the about section that contains information about your beats studio buds such as model number, serial number and the firmware version. Then beneath that is the option to manually disconnect if the need arises and then forget this device which essentially uninstalls the beats studio buds from your phone.
If you ever end up having any issues with your beats studio buds. Such as consistent poor reception or connection issues there is an option to reset the the beats studio buds. To reset, make sure both earbuds are in the charging case. Leave the lid open, then Press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds or until the LED indicator light flashes red and white. Then release the button. The LED indicator will likely continue to flash white meaning that they are in paring mode and are ready for you to set them up on your device again.

I use them at night paired to my Samsung smart TV. The volume is very low and my TV has passed over volume control to my buds. How do I get over this issue.
I have a issue with my beats, when I play music my beats will silence itself between seconds to minutes, idk if it’s maybe because I play them too loud but my beats just pauses randomly

Thank you for the great video. I wish you had included what the interface sounds/beeps mean. I don't understand what the beeps are telling me when I first take them out of the case and put them in my ears - it sounds like it's telling me they are not charged enough (down cascading sound) but it can't be that because they are usually full. Then there are different beeps when they connect, etc. I think that would have been a nice addition to your video. Aloha.
I opened these up last night and tried them on my new Samsung Galaxy S24. I paired them easily and listened to Spotify at my computer and really liked them. I had no idea about this functionality though. Now I want to take them to the gym with me. Do I have to have the case with me at the gym? Is in my pocket okay? Or does it require me to leave the case opened up by a window sill? Or can I leave the case in my car and then pop them in my ear inside the gym? Will I have to re - pair these buds each time I use them?

Is there a way to turn off the buttons? When I lay down it is constantly going to Siri or pausing the music. I’ve tried everything even turning Siri off.

I bought these buds yesterday and I learning about how to use. This is my first time to buy wireless buds. But I am not happy because these buds battery drain fast. They said 8 hours of battery I am not think like that. I am not using any noise controls and my volume is 50%. I am using a pair of buds. These are 20% drain in every hours. I have AirPods pro, and just picked up the Beats. I'm returning the Beats because you cannot disable the buttons hence I cannot wear them under a helmet. I am surprised by the sound quality of the beats compared to my Airpods at half the cost, Airpods are great but they catch on my helmet when I remove them. Thanks for the video.

Once this device is connected to my iPhone and Macbook can I use it continuously? I mean when I try to watch the video on my Macbook, am I suppose to just open the lid and put the buds in my ear and enjoy the video? Then, when my phone rings, can I just stop the video and receive the phone call from my phone using these buds?
You’ll need to disconnect from your MacBook and then connect to your phone. It does not support auto device switching, they are not AirPods.
What app to install for android phone
Hey so got these for Christmas and I’m having issues already. I got them because I have sensory issues and I wanted a discreet option to block out sound. After about 2 weeks my left bud developed this horrible static. It hasn’t been dropped in anything and I use them as intended. The static has worsened to the point where it’s counter productive to use them because the static in my left ear is causing some sensory issues. I have no idea where it came from. And the buds fall out pretty often no matter what I do. Does anyone else have these issues?
You should at least have a year warranty, contact whoever you bought them thru
Just got my Beats. Dont see a beats page like you showed. When I press beats in Bluetooth I only see info. No where do I see how to go from noise cancellation back to regular. Do not have the page you showed in your video

They’re supposed to charge when they need to when in the case. It’s designed to do that. They will stop charging in their case when fully charged.
How do you put the earrings on
Got mind like 2 weeks ago at Target, it was on sale at $99 plus tax. Now left earphone has buzzing/static sound. Can’t use it anymore….So i think i’ll just stick to the wired earphone. Just plug and play.
I dropped mine, the right button isnt working. Everything esle works fine like the sound. Is this normal that the right button does not work?
That is not normal. I’d recommend resetting them. If the right button still doesn’t work after the reset you might consider exchanging them if possible.
Hey, great video, very helpful, but i've been having very specific problems with my Studio Buds. Basically, my beats used to be louder in the left ear, but recently they switched to being louder in the right ear and I have no clue why. Could you help me out
Did you ever figure this out. I just got a pair and I’m having the same issue (left bud is slightly louder) and I was born with partial hearing loss in my left ear, so it’s actually just about balanced for me. However, if they switch buds like yours did, it would be horrible. LMK. Thanks.

That can be solved on your phone go to settings go to sounds and find anything with balancing for your personal hearing problems also gives a hearing test .. sorry we all have different phones but there should be a setting for hearing adjustments

Can you have then paired to multiple devices like Airpods can? IOW paired to my iphone, ipad, mac and appletv? Thank you
You should be able to pair them to all of your apple devices like any other Bluetooth headphones. But they do not offer iCloud sync or auto device switching like AirPods, so you’ll have to set them up on each device separately.

You don’t have to play music to use the noise cancellation. With no music they kind of work as ear plugs!

I bought these used and on a full charge I only got 3 hrs worth of music I have yet to try and turn off noise cancellation and transparency but even tho shouldn’t have I received more listening time?
That wierd usually with noise cancellation it gives you 5 to 6 hours
probably a problem with the used headphones, that may be why they sold them used and cheap

Hi I was just wondering if the buds turn off automatically after you unpair them and if its okay to just leave them in the case whenever because I don't want them to overcharge or anything. And thank you for the vid, it helped a lot.
When they’re not in use leave them in the case. It’s all controlled automatically, no need to worry about it!
Just wondering. is there a way to completely turn off both earbuds and power case? I dont want the power case to drain the battery over time when I leave them inside my backpack.
Same problem here. Each and every time I picked it up... no power. The damn thing is dead. So useless. Why not have an on/off power. Oh I see, because it's a useless Apple stuff.

Exactly Kevin Jackson. The darn thing has absolute no bass when it plays music. My God, only people never listened to music would love any things that plays music with no bass, only produces trebles. This thing reminds me when I was 12 years old, my dad had a tiny 6-transistor radio that has high pitch sound and no bass when it played radio music. It's horible. That's when I was 12 years old. Im now 71.5 years old. Lol.
I have the same darn problem. You charge it up., leave it there awhile then pick it up. The damn thing is out of juice. Charge again, leave it on the desk untouched for a few hours. Pick it up, power already drained. Charge again. Our son gave my wife and I one each. He lives in Connecticutt, we are in NJ, don't know how to return them for money.

Make sure it’s turned on in the settings. If it is, but you find it’s not working you can try resetting them. If the reset doesn’t work then you should look at exchanging them.
Still cant control volume
They don't sound loud and when I'm on the phone the person on the other end can hear a lot of background noise.
How to install
I got these and was surprised it didn’t pair up immediately with my phone. And they kept falling off. I personally prefer the AirPods Pro hand down.

The beats studio buds kinda suck! First set I got and one bud would not work.
