- After the Lakers lost the 2004 NBA Finals, O'Neal was traded and Bryant became the cornerstone of the Lakers. Kobe led the NBA in scoring in the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. On January 22, 2006, he scored a career-high 81 points; the second most points scored in a single game in league history, behind Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game in 1962. Bryant led the team to consecutive championships in 2009 and 2010, both times being named NBA Finals MVP.

🔥🔥🔥
I ran after school to watch the game.
I was born in 2010 I will still remember kobe
This Era is when he became The Black Mamba 🐍💜💛
🔥🔥🔥
Man, he was a beast, I still can’t believe that he is gone.
🙏🙏🙏
I’ve seen a lot of basketball in my life, this was the greatest stretch of basketball I ever saw. Jordan was pretty dominate too, but Kobe’s game was just flawless.
I’ve never seen a man just like a team up like Kobe during this period.
🔥🔥🔥
THANK YOU SIR 🥺😔🙏
GODBLESS MOREPOWER STAY STRONG STAY HEALTHY !!!!
REST IN PARADISE KOBE !!!

I’m fairly new to the basketball scene and I have learned a lot through your videos. Appreciate your time and dedication making these type of timelines!
Thank you very much man!
Rip Kobe still can’t find words you have always been one of my favourite basketball players just thank you for everything 😭😭😭😭😭😭
🙏🙏🙏
Just crazy how many people associated with basketball we’ve lost in that time span- even seeing him next to Stu Scott or hearing Craig Sager…
Mamba Out 🙏
It still doesn’t feel real that he’s gone
🙏🙏🙏
Kobe had such a phenomenal year in 05-06, and the pre-Gasol era, he had really limited help, maybe Luke Walton was their best passer, Odom was on the rise to be a part of Kobe's supporting cast.
How often do you see a player outscoring a team 62-61? Scoring 81 a few weeks later?
Kobe was a different beast man
and that team kobe outscored made the nba finals that same year.
I got to start wachting this
😁😁😁

another cool video. for the next one, you could do a timeline on either LeBron or Kawhi’s career.
Sure man
Dude almost played for the bulks at the time (2007).
I mean between 2010 and 2013 he should've tried to join the CAVS or GSW to grap that six ring, but he was loyal til the end.
20 seasons with the lakers
Crazy how Jayson Tatum mirrored his game after Kobe but couldn’t execute like Kobe.
He can still improve tho
Man you need to do dirk’s whole career with mavericks

81 POINTS?! TELL ME WHO SCORED MORE THAN THAT 🤯 🤯🤯🤯
🔥🔥🔥
@Gigabyte95 - in 1962 Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points, when his team Philadelphia Warriors (now Golden State Warriors) won 169 x 147 against New York Knicks.
@@bigO77777 Yeah I noticed now. Thank you for the info. Most points scored in a single game by an NBA player ever.
14:37 Referee: Run!!!!
😮😮😮
How about the NBA legends like Magic Johnson and Karl Malone.

Contracts were so long back then
@@jaywarvz inflation perhaps
How Phil dare call Kobe "uncoachable" when Shaq was lazy, immature and lacked work ethic. Shaq was more "uncoachable" than Kobe.
Probably man
Kobe was young back then
@@mymagicisntgivingup5908 Kobe had work ethic unlike Shaq.
@@bumblebity2902Both great playera and I hate Lakers but if Shaq stayed in shape, could been best duo probably in history.. But Shaq was Hollywood and Kobe was basketball business

🔥🔥🔥
Haha this is reuploaded I already watch it maybe a days ago
🙏🙏🙏
better than mj lebron all day
Arguably
They used box 1 againts him and dropped 81 againts Raptors in a physical tough d era of NBA. And that same box 1 used in a soft era of NBa againts ste fake curry he doesn't know wht to do. That alone is the reason what seprated kobe againts the pretending star players of soft era of NBA. See what chuck said? He wants to prove a point in game 7 of suns but he's selfish. Media just don't want to give Kobe any credit. He just did what they want him to do and still he's selfish. Hahahaha! That proves another point that as early as Kobe was a Jordan like player in 2000-01 season, media was already using that same spiel what chuck said. He don't pass the ball he's selfish, he passed the ball he's still selfish. But truth is they hate him, because he was tge closest thing to MJ yet Kobe wouldn't go with the media's d3mand. To be that well behave NbA elite super star by go with thei4 BS. So what kobe did? From 2008-2010 he went to 3 straight finals won 2 chips got an olympi gold, saved the US because medias daughter le floppy James is a no show in th3 second half of the gold medal game. With out any super teams in those title runs. Sounds familliar? Yep MJ won 91 and 92 titles with out super teams to helped him and won gold medal in Barcelona. Oooop! Some one who is flopping tried to do that in 2012, but he cant, because Jason Terry out muscled him in 2011 and he got a 20s primed super team in Miami.
Very well said man!
