A live performance of Douglas Guest's setting of the Remembrance Ode 'They shall not grow old', complete with the Last Post and Reveille.
'They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning:
    We will remember them'
    Words: Laurence Binyon (1869-1943)
    Music: Major Douglas Guest (1916-1996)
The day before churches were shut down in Sydney, we very quickly recorded, with a very reduced and socially-distanced St Andrew's Cathedral Choir, several well-known hymns and psalms. We hope to share more shortly. We hope that you find them all useful in this difficult time when churches are unable to meet. Please feel free to share this or incorporate it in your online act of worship by downloading it. There is no copyright due, if you use it for your online services during this time, and feel free to download. If we can help your scattered congregation, then we are really grateful that God can use this. Please put an acknowledgement: 'Courtesy of St Andrew's Cathedral & Choir, Sydney, Australia'.
