What a performance! One of the best in my life. Amazing music and singing. The tune of ''Abide with Me'' played on the bugle, was used in the ceremony of ''Beating the Retreat'' of the Indian Army on the eve of Independence Day on August 15. It was such a meaningful hymn for the armed forces. The present government of India has changed it. This was also the favorite hymn of Mahatma Gandhi, who once said; ''I have never seen a better Christian than myself''.
