Thank you for demonstrating your technique for wrapping a small taceted stone. This is a vastly different technique from what I am used to, as for many years my settings for stones & decorative patterns were soldered. I have a very large faceted freeform (unequal sided) amethyst, approximately 7mm thick, w/o measuring, that I acquired many years ago, & have wondered how I might set it. Perhaps wirewrapping is a way to do it. It will be interesting, if I decide to tackle it.
Question the first style is different from the video , I actually like the first one so how do you make it look like the first finished product? How do you oxidize the cooper? And finally do you use 28 gauge copper wire?
I only made the one pendant so it should be the same except for oxidizing afterwards. You can see how to oxidize here: th-cam.com/video/aUuXLL2TCxs/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=DebbyTammyCreations Also, yes, I use 28 gauge wire to weave.

I hope it works for you!
Congratulations on your daughter’s wedding. I have a few stones like this and will try this next weekend
Thanks! And I hope you’re able to wrap them with this technique!
Love this.
Thank you!
