- Former EFF Secretary-General Godrich Gardee says he will establish a Hillary Gardee Foundation in honour of his daughter.
Gardee paid tribute through a video that was played during the funeral service of Hillary in Mbombela, Mpumalanga. Gardee has described his daughter as a fearless fighter and a brave woman.

I have no words to express my deepest CONDOLENCES to the Gardee FAMILY. Losing a daughter like this, is more than pain itself. It goes deeper , it pieces the deepest root and veins of the heart.
