Your covers are so...damn...GOOD!!! Do you always up pick the 2nd high e string note of your sweeps? When I first learned Symphony X way back in 2007ish I learned the high e notes as hammer on and pull off (8h12p8) in the tablature. I picked up all sorts of bad things from poorly written tabs I feel like. Now it’s engrained into me years later... Watching you and others I see that the more technical players seem to up pick then pull off and continue the sweep up. (8 12p8). I guess I’ll just have to see if I can break the habit. (Sorry... explaining that was hard to put in to words, haha)
It depends on the situation but most of the time I make a hammer on and pull of. But you have to be aware of the timing. Alot of peopel tend to play the pull of faster than the rest of the sweep
