I’ve been spending more than 100,000 hours studying English humor and culture and more than 100,000 hours studying Chinese humor and culture. I’m teaching Chinese language in jokes. Hope you like this funny way of learning Chinese.
Thats approximately 22 years of work with out sleep or eating or any other tasks involved, idk if your being 100% on that one boss, 100,000 hours is (4166 days and 16 hours) = 11.407 years x 2 since you said they were separate 100,000's

i personally think it’s much easier to go in with chinese first. korean does not help with chinese at all except for a decent amount of words that sound similar. i started learning chinese after dabbling in both korean and japanese, and knowing some japanese kanji definitely helped with learning hanzi. but aside from that, japanese and korean both have very different phonetic and grammar structures, so if chinese is your end goal, i would suggest learning chinese first.
I listen while i sleep but those who speak the language talk so darn fast one cant keep up. We play chinese dramas all day long and only a few words are clear.
