I remember at 15 when Gladiator was released and I was able to see this master piece. I cried for Maximus so hard because it was the first time I’ve seen a man fight to his last breath in a modern film at the time. 2 Cellos made me feel 15 again and I’m 36. Music is a powerful thing man.

On my way to the Hospital to give birth to my baby I asked my Husband to play this song. During the birth I was so nervous and I started singing this song throughout the caesarean and I felt God’s presence. My Son is turning 5 months this months and this is his bedtime story. Whenever his crying or restless I sing this song to him and he calms down 🥹God is Good

Don't ask me why, but a musical, a concert like this, moves me, many times, watching the video, tears come, it's involuntary, I can't control it. I've never been to a theater, I've never personally seen a music concert. I love this so much and I don't know why either!
Try to attend some concert, try to safe money or try to find the ways to get an affordable ticket. It happens to me with the violin mainly, imposible to hold back the tears... You won't regret...

In their room with the lights off, cuddled by their pillows with tears pooling at the corners of their eyes, a strange feeling on their chest. Where they are, who they are doesn't matter. My god, I remember seeing this movie at the cinema a week before I moved to Toronto from Windsor. As a timid 21 yr old man, the movie and this musical piece were like my final shout to young adulthood. Love this version - Peace and health to all!
Nice! I'm sure it turned out all right! I watched it July 2nd, 2000. Day of elections when for the 1st time in 70yrs Mexico decided to throw out the government. As an 18yrs old, going out of the movies in the evening with a buzz in the streets and the possibility of the victory, it was pretty cool.

Well, in my country the lockdown has already started to break up, since all the misinformation has finally been recognised, so hopefully I can start orchestra in July! Yay!
My school had a music program that I feel has changed my life. I am a musician singer/songwriter now, but I give credit to being involved in classical music from a young age. Instead of running around the neighborhood, I was in my room playing the violin for hours every day. My poor mother would get frustrated at hearing the screeching sounds, but as time went by I would see how proud she was of me being dedicated to musical arts.
My heart was breaking every second. Wow. Just wow. I can't say any more. Wow.
No matter if it has been played for 6 years - this music of the 2CELLOS is always fantastic to listen to. I, for one, watch and listen to these videos and the incomparable music of both wonderful cello masters and begin to dream. Many thanks also today, in mid-June 2023, to my beloved 2CELLOS🎻🎻❤❤🌹🌹

I hope then never do a sequel to Gladiator. It's one of those perfect films that would only be diluted, at best, by having a sequel.

The cello is by far the most beautiful instrument to be known. The range, the emotion, the passion that is to be displayed through a bow is amazing, and I feel gifted to have the opportunity to play.
I feel ya. I've recently wandered into this whole sub-genre of cello, string and orchestral covers of popular music and I'm addicted. You hit the nail on the head with the range and emotion that can be elicited from these instruments. Truly incredible!

It's truly beautiful how an orchestra completely changes the feeling of what is being delivered to the listener. Songs about starting at the bottom and sacrificing everything to make it to where they are now just hit different with an orchestra
They are different and yet, they complete each other in a perfect way. I love Luka's subtle class and modesty and Stjepan's explosive energy and sensuality. I'd like to see them play together again.

This song reminds when I was living abroad attending college and my finals were coming. I took 4 hours of sleep in three days, because I knew that my grades were a way to keep the 'door open' for future opportunities...this song along with a large amount of coffee helped me undergo this.
