I dunno. The Hinterlands appear in Halloween Town in KH2 so the holiday worlds all exist in canon. Plus, there are probably lots of other holiday-themed worlds out there that we never see.
I feel like the whole "purebloods don't release hearts" aspect is continuously forgotten by the devs when they make these games. :P That and that insignia heartless are supposed to be artificial, which was broken in KH 3 twice with Gothel and Hans.

Wait a minute.. Darkside in KH2? Also - Bandit in KH2? Did I miss something? Also also - The Experiment isn't a Heartless, it was just an experiment - which felt lonely.
Darkside appears during Roxas' dreams of Sora's memories. He mostly got in on a technicality. I was strongly debating if I should of included him or not in the KH2 count, but decided to go for it. Bandits appear in the cutscene behind Jafar when Aladdin mentions that he escaped. The Experiment is another technicality since it falls under the realm of "artificial heartless". The way I view it is that the Emblem Heartless are also artificial in comparison to the Purebloods. Both the Emblem Heartless and the Experiment are both on the hunt for a heart, so it kinda felt like it fit alongside them. Another point where I deliberated if I should of included it or not, but decided to go ahead akin to Darkside in KH2. If the Experiment was not hunting for a heart, I would of def not included it.

I hope we get more silly and festive heartless in Missing Link. Yes, they make absolutely no sense contextually, but they’re hilarious!

Just as a quick note: the Shadow is pretty much the only ‘Pureblood’ in the entire series, since they don’t release hearts when destroyed.
