Respected sir, being a grammar stalwart, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to change the following Active voice --They tried to kill me - into a Passive one.
Active -The judge ordered to imprison the convict.Passive-(A) The judge ordered the convict to be imprisoned (B) It was ordered by the judge to imprison the convict (C) It was ordered by the judge that the convict would be imprisoned (D) The judge ordered that the convict be imprisoned (E) It was ordered by the judge that the convict be imprisoned.Sir, please share your valued take on this.
It was ordered by the judge that the convict would be imprisoned. or,
The police were ordered (by the judge) to imprison the judge.
Respected sir, are the following sentences correct from the structural point of view ?-(A) He ordered the goods to sent by air /He ordered for the goods to be sent by air (B) The judge ordered the spy to be shot/The judge ordered for the spy to be shot (C) The hostages are expected to be released today/It is expected that the hostages will be released today.Apart from all this, please let me know how i would change the Active voice -He decided to sell the house - into a Passive one.
Sorry, sir,i have forgotten to put 'be' before 'sent' in item No 1.
Respected sir,do please let me know if the following sentence is grammatically correct from the point of view of Tense-My friends will have reached there last week.
Excellent
Thanks
I love rice to be eaten
Very👍❤ nice

Tnak YOU So much.
😈😓😈😓😈😓😈😓😈😓😈😓😈😓
Sir, can the following sentences be changed into Passive in the format Act(1)I love to eat rice.Passive-It is loved by me to eat rice.Act(2)He wants to buy a pen.Passive-It is wanted by him to buy a pen.
Respected sir, please help me out by providing solution to the following voice change -Active-They -Our purpose has been served.Passive-(A) We have served our purpose (B) They have served our purpose.
Most Revered sir, you are once again requested with folded hands to solve the following voice -related issue that has baffled so many grammarians and teachers --He was pleased to be greeted by the audience (Change the voice). My probable answers -(A) To be greeted by the audience pleased him(B) The audience's greeting him pleased him (C) The audience greeting him pleased him (D) The fact of the audience greeting him pleased him (E)He was pleased by the audience greeting him (F)He was pleased for the audience to greet him.Sir, please help me out by providing solution to the above issue.
Sir, can the Active voice -I wanted to buy a pen - be changed into the Passive voice in the following way -Passive-It was wanted by me to buy a pen.
This is not good English.
Introductory/Preparatory 'it' works better in complex sentence.
Hindi and nepali languages ma uplod garnu sir please
😘😘😘😘😘
Respected sir, do please help me out by providing solution to the following voice -related issue -Passive-Nothing can be gained by hurry (Change it into Active). My probable answers are -(A) We gain nothing in a hurry (B) We can gain nothing by hurry (C) Hurry can gain nothing (D) Hurry can gain us nothing (E) You can gain nothing by hurry (F) Hurry can gain you nothing.Sir, please give your thoughts an airing.
B & E are correct. One can gain....
'by hurry' should be kept here
@@HelpSelfEnglish Words are miserably inadequate to express my deepest feelings of gratitude to you you for your accommodating gesture towards me.
Sir,
"One should keep one's promise" ans
"A promise should be kept" ata ki thik na vul plz aktu bolben
correct
Respected sir, do please solve the voice -related issue -He was pleased to be greeted by the audience(Change the voice). My attempted answers are:(A) To be greeted (Being greeted) pleased him (B) That the audience greeted him pleased him (C)It pleased him that the audience greeted him.
The question is in the passive (double passive), so, in active, no passive construction should be there.
A & B are not good English, C is correct, or, The greetings of the audience pleased him.
@@HelpSelfEnglish Thank you, from the innermost recess of my heart, for the fact that you have come up with an ingenious solution to the issue that not a single grammarian has so far been able to deal with;i will dictate to the students of class X under my tutolege the well -thought -out answer you have given.
He was let to go by me.
I was orders by her a letter is to be written
It's not correct
Please try again

Yes, you are right
Respected sir, please let me know which rule i would apply in case of verbs like 'hope','desire ' and 'expect'.For example, Question.No.1Active-He desires to win the prize.-Passive-(A) He desires the prize to be won(B) He desires for the prize to be won (C) It is desired by him that the prize will be won.Question No.2-Active-He hopes to obtain the star marks(A)He hopes the star marks to be obtained (B) He hopes for the star marks to be obtained (C) It is hoped by him that the star marks will be obtained by him.Question No.3.-Active-He expected to get the first prize (A)He expected the first prize to be gotten (B) He expected for the first prize to be gotten (C) It was expected by him that the first prize would be gotten.Sir, do please enlighten me a bit as to which options are correct and which not.
All are correct here with very subtle difference. With and without preposition 'for' are equally correct because the object in each case identifies/qualifies the main verb as well as the infinitive.
It is wanted by me to buy a pen
This is not a good answer, sir
Voice বানান এর এর কোনটা c আর কোনটা e ?
