Thank you for this awesome tutorial, it really helped me out. How are you making it sound so much different at 0:58? The emphasis is different, but I can't replicate it.
At 0:58 try to minimize the pause time of switching directions of the record. Example: forward w/clicks then immediately backwards w/clicks...rather than forward w/clicks PAUSE then backwards w/clicks. So its more of a fluid controlled forward and back movement rather than forward pause then backward. The clicks are also more spaced out evenly as well.
