      Ohh my god our alfalfa was 4.5 bales an acre second cutting. It was un fucking real. Thank god tho we ran out of hay the previous year so good for hay but corn and beans were tight to get in

    That land is screaming out for a triple mower. I love cutting smaller fields with a single but massive areas soon get old. 😂

      awww.... i can cut more than i can bale in a day .... so its plenty and the cost isnt bad either

    I love this stuff wish I could help out on a big farm I know after awhile its just a job long hours poor pay but whatever I would still enjoy it thanks for the videos

      I'm in Baltic Ohio we have about 5 big farms within about 6 miles radius and more a little farther away but I'm not really looking for a job we have a family business but I always thought it would be fun

      just use wass... but our wass signal is pretty good in this area

    With your auto steer do you keep the mower to one side?
    I always have trouble with a quadratic equation any shortcuts or tips and tricks mark

      i move the mower side to side.... i dont use any offsets just let the gps think its right behind me and it seems to work decent

    Do you have any rocks? How does a discbine handle them? Also do they throw them out into the tractor windows? Thanks for the info thinking about a discbine.

      We have next to a soft ball field the softballs usually go flying out the front 😂😂 first time I had that happens it hit tractor huge thump

      i have never broke any glass but i have heard of it happening.... so far seems to handle rocks decent

    That 316 is impressive, Ted. Looking at how even it cuts across the field, it must be fairly well balanced to hide the "turtle" tracks as well as it apparently does. All told, how many acres of various forages are you cutting this year?

    Not familiar with broome here on the east coast. Do you have to let the Brome go to seed in order to reseed itself?

    Do the steel on steel rolls do better than rubber on rubber? Always wondered if they would be to aggressive for alfalfa

      it is 1/2 mile long could actually cut some mile long rows but try to keep sections separate

      The speed and with the tonge length it’s pretty hard to turn in 4 rounds

    I don't know what fancy hay is worth but a neighbor sold all of his pivot corner grass hay for $295/ton. Last years reject heated Timothy is selling for $275/ton. I bought my in laws hay for $100/ton standing and now they think I robbed them. Looks good Ted

      in this field i was going 5-8 but normally cut at 10.5 mph basicly you can cut as fast as you can set in the seat

      it would be about twice as fast... maybe even slightly more maneuverable... BUT for now this works great for me

    do you put your hydraulics in float mode or set your draft control light so it contours the ground? ive always wonder how you can cut that close to the ground with out scalping it. i tried cutting that close to the ground with my 10ft pull-type brushhog but it scalps the ground
