I have never heard of Asura's Wrath, so I though Cronus was the biggest boss in video gaming. So as I was watching this, I was thinking, "Yeah, these are all really cool. I wonder how they could possibly get bigger than Cronus. They would have to be the size of an actual planet, and be able to crush the Earth with their finger." Then Gongen Wyzen shows up, and all I could think was "Can Rob read my mind!?"
And then there is the DLC final boss which literally becomes like the center of the universe size. And its not just for show. Its epic and there's more to it than just a quicktime event.
Asura's Wrath is a pretty fun game in a fantastic setting that sadly got butchered by Capcom. I do recommend you pick it up, but you'll either not like it or join its fans in perpetual Firefly-esque longing.
Unfortunately, you don't get a good sense of scale by the time you reach him. Gaia is nearly the size of that....thing's hair follicles. That's not actually the boss, though. The true boss is inside it.

You know, I've seen Wyzen in many "Big" Bosses lists and I agree, he is huge. But shouldn'e Chakravartin, seeing as that guy sits on a goddamned GALAXY while throwing STARS AND PLANETS at you, be here instead?
he doesnt sit on a galaxy, you can see the galaxies around him and they look like stars ( how we see them from earth ) due to his size. He is some Gurren Lagann sized guy. They are like marbles compared to his size.
Either way, when you 'fight' him, Asura is the size of the Earth as he rockets off to fight Chakravartin. When you approach Chakravartin's head, you're almost literally like a flea in comparison.
Just saying, but if a character is the size of a galaxy and another the size of the earth, the secodn character wouldn't look like a flea compared to the first one. Just our solar system itself is around 600,000 times bigger than earth, and the galaxy's diameter is 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) times bigger than our solar system. If we bring that to human scale, for say a 2 meters tall human, the second character wouldn't even be a pico-meter big in comparison. Yes i know, that's a useless comparison :). But the earth compared to our solar system is already far smaller than a flea compared to a human ;).
I've watched every episode of Rob's ramblings, and its just so delightful and funny. His interactions with Delsin rodent make me laugh so hard my sides hurt. As a throw away list, You could do a list of Delsin rodents favorite games. You could put any obscure or strange games you want on a list like that. Rob may not like it, but the fact that he would have to deal with Delsin for an entire episode...which sounds hilarious.
Im gonna be that guy but no they should just let the series rest. Sure the games were great and fun but the story is concluded. Theres no reason to drag it on even further. Just look at halo, people kept asking for more and look at what has happened to the series. Better for the series to go down as an amazing trilogy then continue on and become mediocre.

Problem with is I can see there being way to many ties for first place. I mean tons of games you get a trophy for just getting through the intro. Just start the game and bam trophy.
Not so much a playable boss but Sargeras from World of Warcraft is the size of a planet and is portrayed as such in the last expansion in its final cut scene. He plunges a sword half the size of the planet into the crust and leaves it there for us to deal with and stuff. Great scene

Demon Tiger Huge soulsborne fan myself, but I personally don't feel like they have ever done huge bosses very well. Dragon God wasn't very fun to fight imo. Felt kind of like the bed of chaos of demons souls to me. The most memorable and fun boss fights in the series have always been bloodborne beast size or smaller to me.
See though, imo it wasn't the fight itself, it was the shock of seeing him the first time. He wasn't as cheap as the Bed of Chaos imo. It's all opinion based in the end, Look at these features, 100% of them has MGS and FF on them because it's Rob's list. I do not want to start a fight over different opinions. I do however, agree on the more human sized bossfights seem to be more memorable. They've never been good at Godzilla sized bossfights.

The Over-G from Lost Planet 2 should totally be on this list. *[MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR LOST PLANET 2!]* It is a massive blob of alien flesh and liquid thermal energy that is so large it literally engulfed a city, and that's just a small part of it that's above surface, the rest is underground. It hibernates in the planets mantle and surfaces to drain E.D.N III (the planet) of all of its thermal energy, leaving it an icy, lifeless rock. The fight is so ridiculously long that and hard that an entire level is dedicated to taking it down. (and it's an unusually long level at that.) Throughout the level you traverse literally THE ENTIRE CITY to destroy it's growth like eyes, all of which kill you instantly with nearly impossible to dodge attacks. Once you make it to the core, it gets Death Star-d from orbit and is totally unharmed by the nuking, so desperate measures are taken and a GIANT SPACE STATION THE SIZE OF A SMALL MOON IS RAMMED INTO IT. This actually kills it one and for all and the ending cut scene plays. The Over-G is one of the longest, most epic and underrated fights ever from an equally epic and underrated game.
I loved Dragons Dogma! I have it twice (the first installment and the later Dark Arisen) and got my Platinum in it. Great game. So sad that they didn't continued it.
Surprised the boss from the Borderlands Captain Scarlet DLC wasn't in this list. it may not look so big at first but if you fire certain types of bullets/rockets at it you realize that it's just very far away and is gigantic.

Yuvam Sharma well arent some of those things actual planets. not only moons. That makes them big by default. and unbeatable unless you have something that can 1 shot a planet.
Tidal Wave, from Transformers (2004.) In his level he started out as an aircraft carrier/battheship hybrid. Then he transforms, towering over the entire playing area. The only way to do any sort of harm to him was to snipe his face, while dodging cannon fire and the occasional laser beam.
Altough that "giant robot whale" from the Sunken City was a tedious and gimmicky battle IMO, yeah, it looked pretty big and cool (and Marx, Engels and Hegel looked cool as well).

Why on all these "Biggest Bosses" lists they will list Gongen Wyzen (from Asura's Wrath) as one of the biggest bosses but don't list the final and true biggest boss, possibly in all of gaming, Chakravartin? This guy (who is the God of that gaming universe) literally becomes so big he has what seems like hundreds of freaking Galaxies floating around him... even when your main character (Asura) becomes the size of Gongen Wyzen, he still (understandably) is like a flea compared to Chakravartin.

Wyzen didn't throw the planet into the sun because, and I'm quoting one of the cutscene pieces you used in this video here, "[He is] an absolute being that protects this world and its mortals." Doing more than trying to crush the main character under his finger would cause a level of destruction that simply could not be reconciled with his purpose.

I loved Dragons Dogma! I have it twice (the first installment and the later Dark Arisen) and got my Platinum in it. Great game. So sad that they didn't continued it.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is such a great game. Many people don’t even know about the game or play it. I love it though.
Surprised the boss from the Borderlands Captain Scarlet DLC wasn't in this list. it may not look so big at first but if you fire certain types of bullets/rockets at it you realize that it's just very far away and is gigantic.

Why on all these "Biggest Bosses" lists they will list Gongen Wyzen (from Asura's Wrath) as one of the biggest bosses but don't list the final and true biggest boss, possibly in all of gaming, Chakravartin? This guy (who is the God of that gaming universe) literally becomes so big he has what seems like hundreds of freaking Galaxies floating around him... even when your main character (Asura) becomes the size of Gongen Wyzen, he still (understandably) is like a flea compared to Chakravartin.
