I hope you get the opportunity to see Avi preform live. He is even better. I didn't think this was possible, but Oh my goodness, his voice just touches your very soul. And honestly probably one of the sweetest & humble & honest human beings I've had the pleasure of meeting. I saw him twice in Colorado, and I've already have tickets to see him in Portland Or. & Seattle Washington. I'm anxiously awaiting my 4th and 5th opportunities to see Avi live after seeing him 3 times in 2019. But I have to wait until November 30 to see him VIP in Berkeley CA (in my native Bay Area) and then December 2 in Portland OR (where I'll be taking my niece and her husband to the show). I do hope you get to see him before too long. I know he really wants to tour more broadly, and especially to Australia and New Zealand .

Avi's drummer, Noah Denney, used to play bass for years with Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown. Tyler is married to Rebecca Lovell of Larkin Poe. Nashville appears to be just a small town in some ways. I have wanted Avi to do a collaboration with Larkin Poe for awhile now and the multiple connections give me hope it will happen one day 🙂

Lyle, I just love your reactions to Avi and his music. Often when I watch your reactions I find that they mirror my own feelings. I've watched them all, and re-watched many of them. It's easy to see how Avi's music touches you deeply. Avi has the gift of touching peoples heart and soul, not just with his beautiful voice and music, but his genuine love for his fans. Many stars say they love their fans, yet somehow it sounds hollow, like they feel they have to say it. That's not the case with Avi, which only strengthens the bond he has with his fans. A beautiful, gentle, caring soul. 💖🤗
Avi is one artist I would travel to the US to actually make sure I could see live, obviously I would make sure that I was able to see PTX and Home Free while there but even if they weren't an option getting to see Avi live would still make a trip completely worth while

Back in 2019, I went to his show in San Francisco (my hometown and I still live 70 miles from there), then a few weeks later flew to Dallas and Houston for the last 2 shows of the tour. At those 2 shows, afterwards, I got to talk with Avi one on one, as we could do back before Covid. He gives very nice hugs, by the way. Avi and his band are very good. I hadn't been to a concert in years but did go to his in Denver. Wonderful experience in an old single screen movie theater, Bluebird Theater. If you want to get an idea of what it is like another reactor went and recorded a vlog. I really hope that one day you get to hear him live. I saw him in Manchester earlier this year and that gig is up there with seeing Led Zeppelin live at the Knebworth Festival to me. (My husband who saw both Jimi Hendrix and Otis Reading live, agrees with me.) Looking forward to your future reactions.
I know Avi said he would love to grow his beard out, but when it gets too long he feels like he looks creepy. I don't think he said creepy but I can't remember his exact word. He thinks it's majestic when you can braid your beard.

Of course I loved him with Pentatonix, but I think the best thing he ever did was go out on his own. His style, voice and persona is pure gold.
