Being Needy for a Savior | Fr. Mathias Thelen

In this homily given on December 22nd, 2024, (Fourth Sunday of Advent) Fr Mathias breaks open Psalm 80 to help us cry out to the Lord in our need to save us. We cannot save ourselves, we need his grace. As we prepare for Christmas, it's important to acknowledge the place of need from which we can cry out to the Lord. God is faithful and he is coming. At the end of our lives, may it be said of us what was said of Mary: "Blessed are you who believed what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled."
