Discrimination in Deus has been extended from 0 to 99 to -6.4 to 99 - great, but... I've reported it several times to XP, and no changes, I can see Deus II being the same. Why the Target ID is from 0.0, the Tones settings is from 0.0, Notch is from 0.0? This should all be possible to set from -6.4! Such an oversight is a huge loss of utility - especially when searching for meteorites or ceramics.
Gary, Thanks for the informative videos. If you have multiple notches, how do you erase one of them if you decide that you don’t want that specific zone notched out any longer, while keeping the rest of the notches? Thanks again.
They need to use a notch volume control that way you can still here the notched range, if you want. With an attenuated notch you still get to listen for potential good sounding notched targets like gold rings in a notched pull tab range, they still come through quietly and with descriptive sound quality, on machines that have notch volume.

Good evening, The Deus ll seems like a great idea to me, but to make it the most complete kit on the market you should think about launching hf dishes for this kit as well, another good option would be to launch wireless bone conduction headphones as an option for the search on the ground, I would like to know if this type of thing is in the pipeline or not yet.

I wish someone had instructions on where to put notches to eliminate some pull tabs without losing too many good targets. It just seems to me a very narrow notch like two numbers would help. Most notches I have read about use a big wide notch. I realize can slaw is a wide range but pull tabs are not.

Is it best to set it to 1 when looking for settlement sites with high mineralization? I think that you won't find small coins if you set it on 3. Greetings from Cologne

Back then, I didn't know how to program, if I did I would have probably keep it? I've always been sorta resentful of the French. We (US) bailed them out of two world wars and they don't like us. But, not long ago, I learned Benjamin Franklin, back in the day, went to France to ask for help to break away from England, and France helped. I guess that has changed my attitude towards France. This is me just thinking out loud.

I would like to set NOTCH from -2 upwards. Discrimination is from -6.4 and ID is from 0. Therefore, everything from -6.4 to 0 is identified as 0. There is also the reason i thing for problems with identification of deep signals.

Just got my D2, installed v7 Seems like the 6 segment "rough notch" has gone, When using the + button Notch goes up in matching Single figures only. Is it me ?
Are the two empty lines under the first notch there to make two more notch ranges so for example can you notch 23-25/34-37/ 40-56? (Those numbers are for example only).
Would be great to get xp to sell the machines direct with say two years interest free credit and I think Gary it would be great for you to write a book the info would be great just some thoughts great video great info as always
It's a funny 1,not a favourite unless you can find gold and cut out lead,is it useful,Whites probably the first to introduce notch,can you cut out a pull ring, and find a thin section rings🤔 probably not,so my question is has this notch improved in the last 35 years on Dues 2🤔if not, what's the point,minelab cuts out coke,that's a notch standard,and still picks up thin section rings,coins,what is the advantage on this old system 🤔 I hope it can do better,than previous detectors,if the notch system,has got a valuable setting,like cutting out pull rings and picking up gold stators. Then yes it would be very good. If not🤔 after having many different detectors,and knowledge of how this works,it's possibly not usesable. Except for parks,but not for relic hunting.

The manual says “by default the width of the rejection window is 6 points”. Can you only notch two numbers? Also can you have separate notch zones?
