Another awesome feature while sharing the docs with others is that you can all collaborate/comment on the work and if any changes are allowed or made you can see who did what as it tracks the history in the margin.
Here are the web addresses for each of the Google Drive application home pages which include the templates: Google Document docs.google.com Sheets sheets.google.com Slides slides.google.com Forms forms.google.com If you notice on each homepage page, the URL for each web application is slightly different to what I have included here. However, these are easier to remember and type. It is also fair to say that aside from the templates, each homepage shows only the corresponding native file types. So, docs.google.com shows all documents created with its application. Likewise for Slides, Sheets, and Forms.

(I imagine there must be programs in which you can organize footage with multiple tags and such). Also, which software would you recommend for beginning video editors?

We need to share and update the spreadsheets independently of each other all the time. One thing I would like to know though, is how do I get My Drive to appear on my right click menu under the send-to row? A lot of times I want to send a picture or a file from a folder on my Windows 10 desktop to My Drive but can't right click it Instead I have to go into My Drive and then import the picture or file. Is there a way to get My Drive on the menu? thanks Steve!
Aha! Steve, I think I have found something for you. Using the Chrome Browser, go to the Drive Create Menu, select More, and then Connect More Apps. As you browse, you will eventually find "Templates in Google Drive" or "Drive Template Gallery" which you can add to your Google Drive Create Menu as the entry "From Templates" Hope that helps for people wanting to use templates more. I am not into templates much but the Gallery looks like it could be a fun place :-) John A Melbourne Australia
It is pretty good, BUT some key features are missing e.g. In Spreadsheets no double underline for sums or results, and no printing option to scale the spreadsheet so it fits on one page ( like excel) so for somethings it's nice but not finished yet...
Hi Steve, When using Google Drive my PC slows down to a snail's pace. I read on the internet that this is because the RAM is taken over by Drive. Only a PC restart will get things back to normal speed. Is Google gonna solve this issue?? Thanks Rgds Peter
Looking for the save as to google drive on a MAC like there is on a PC. So when working on an excel file you can save as to google drive on a PC. Having problems doing this on my MAC. Please help ....
You can save files to google drive, or create Google Drive documents, that you save automatically. If you have an excel file on your mac, just move it into your google drive folder.
and I just found the solution: in Settings I changed the language into 'English' and I found all the templates you showed in your video (in English of course). When I use such a template I can translate the English words and save the file into my account. Afterwords I can again change the language into Dutch.

Drive shows my sheets when I use this button but no header with templates whatsoever. The whole page design differs from what is on your screen, and there is no "mode" option either. Exactly the same occurs with slides. Forms (which you showed last time) does not even have this Home button. By the way: Experience is the same on actual versions of Firefox and Chrome. Maybe Google is bullying European users? Especially Austrians?? What have we done? (10 min. later:) ALL-CLEAR FROM OVERSEAS FOR MISSING TEMPLATES: And a big thank you to Christian from the Netherlands. Switching to English in Google's language settings (what the heck is "Austrian English" supposed to be?) fixes ervything.

If you downloaded Google Drive to your computer, it will take up resources while syncing the local folder to your Drive online.

yes, it has about 12 khz. if he used a notch filter on his mic-track it'd be gone...

The way I have always accessed that screen is just typing. docs.google.com although I don't use the spreadsheets or slides. Those are new to me. :)
I do not see templates in the URL docs.google.com/spreadsheets/ if you are in Norway, someone no why?
It is only available in English. Hopefully they will add this feature for other languages soon
