No shit reno is getting nerfed. 1 card that counters entire decks is beyond stupid. Blizzard wants new archetypes for money and players want deck variety. I doubt that anyone would want another reno Warrior meta that was miresable ( even If its tier 2/3 now)
I was already in the mindset of cutting the card cause 3 mana would legit kill it for my deck but you gave me some hope! I'd love to see that! A double blood tax would kill two birds with one stone: Rainbow's objectively the best DK archetype rn and it shouldn't have access to board clears or at least not such effective ones while also giving more visibility to double blood decks that always been less performing
which is strange because threads is not a good card, its just easier to run crop rotation and horizons edge, because that will deal with more than what threads will, which is just anti aggro; its not going to deal with a dazzler or elise very well or any other card that summons really a bunch of really big minions which is a lot of them now, realistically it only does well because of malted magma. i dont think it fair for dk suffer the sin of another class, but buttons maybe shouldnt have been buffed since its a draw 3 or 4
Nah there gunna make it not remove ships and probably by extension locations not enough people are running ships and the only one's that can run them successfully is Rogue and Hunter but that 1 card kills the deck.

If you`re not playing an aggro deck or a deck that can do a lot of burst dmg, you can just concede to avoid losing time, you can do nothing againts it, fatique dmg hits you, bomb dmg hits you, pleague dmg hits you, there are a lot of unfair decks and cards in wild like Shudderwock for example, but at least you have a chance to react to it

Controversial opinion Unkilliax isn't the problem on it's own, it's the ability to summon multiples copies of it with cards like Refreshing spring water and inventor boom. I hoped to see those cards on here with the hope to see the word CLASS be added to their text but I guess that won't be happening... A little scared to not see Incendius receive any adjustment... I'm really scared by that card because it can be a lot of damage in classes like rogue or shaman and there isn't counter play for it besides "jUsT K1lL yU0r 0pP0n3nT" which is a dumb argument. I was also very ready to complain about buffs since powercreep and all that jazz but the choose seems solid. Other then that I'm really looking forward to see what these changes will actually see.
And all those issues regarding Zili can be fixed by nerfing Zili itself Literally remove any of the following keyword because he has 7 and he is not an issue Remove Taunt - idgaf, I ignore him cuz he does 4 dmg Remove Reborn - less annoying Remove Divine Shield - more annoying than reborn but still something Remove Elusive - I can finally hex him (I am for this option the most) Other 3, Poisonous, Rush and Lifesteal are key to the identity so I wouldn't change those I do like Hydration ressurecting class minions only but then still the Cubicle is the issue Zili shoukd get nerfed, just like Sonya because they are toxic af for this game
@Vecuka rush, taunt, divine shield and lifesteal are all iconic keywords for Zilliax since they were on the og one and since they're all part of the perfect module, the most expensive and imo the most fair i would argue on it not being changed. That said I'm all in favour of taking away another keyword from the virus module... reborn and elusive are the outliers here I'm if paired with divine shield, too many layers of protection and the ability to kill a max of 4 minions on its own is just too much id personally love to see it loose reborn that way you get the one guaranteed kill and that's it...

It would be fun if the elemental chain cards like Lamplighter would reset the counter after they are played. A single Lamplighter is a much smaller threat than it being played 3 times a turn with Shadowstep
Is it just me or is Lamp Lighter not the main problem in the Elemental Mage deck? Obviously yes its a massive massive issue and deals way too much damage and steals games early. But like, theyre still going to be doing that with their other hundreds of burn spells, endless draws, permanent spell damage buff and infinite board flooding. It's still probably going to be an obnoxious tier 2 deck that people complain about for a long time,
Only one copy of spell damage fire guy and two copies of these. Plus you can draw fire guy late or draw your overdflows early. Lamplighter is just inevitable reliable death that they probably want to slow down and make double lamplighter a turn 10 move only.
Lamplighter is to strong, not alone but 2 of them in 1 turn = 16 facedamage. Plus mage elemental spell another 7+ damage. Is 23 face dmg turn 7-8 That's why it gets nerfed.
Idk, i haven't ran into the new spell damage variant a lot yet, but at least in perils the thing that felt the most annoying about elemental mage is that if you are playing a control deck against it, you can remove everything they have and heal as much as you want, and then just die to lamp lighter from hand which feels really silly for an aggro deck, so pre-new expansion i would've been happy about the lamp lighter nerf, but now i think i agree, it barely makes a dent

finally they nerfed the most important card the killed hearthstone, they finally nerfed reno YES. now constructed games ends on turn 8 instead of 6, now I can build my starships and die to hand without having to worry about reno 🤣
Coming back to this game several months ago, I always complained about paladinstone in low rank standard. I was dying to a 25 attack Leeroy with a 2 mana buff card. That’s why I only play wild lol it was awful to play against
Disappointed that lamp lighter is the only card getting a nerf for mage as I don’t think it particular needs a nerf. The deck overal is too easy to build, too easy to play, and too hard to stop. For paladin I think Yrel should have a Libram 1 mana cheat on her death-rattle.
Sonya not getting nerfed is crazy. I play at around rank 200 Legend and cycle rogues are so crazy, because they know what they can do with sonya. They play everything must go for 0 mana, giants for 0 Mana and if that isnt enough they play Sonya and its over. Sonya, little pirate into cover artist and then either grifta combo or shadowstepped incindius.

No they shouldn’t. Wild is a crazy format, but Reno just punishes any fun deck that tries to do anything slower and it’s miserable. Even in Wild I’d like to see the perfect uncounterable boardclear remain nerfed

You don’t have the feeling that you’re playing the game at all and that sucks even more than getting recked around turn 8-10 by a high value card :)
I'm in shambles, man. The best DK deck has a 55% winrate because it is alright against elemental mage (if you can draw threads and Airlock Breach on time). I'm currently on an 8 loss streak with it, getting pummeled by mages and druids in d6-8. At this point I don't care about balance, I just want druid and mage to suffer.
I’ve been playing since the first year. .since before the first ‘new expansion’ came out. I suppose, 99% of that time I’ve played Wild. I play decks I’ve built myself. A good percentage of the time, I copy other general strategies or even decks, and extremely rarely, I’ll see a deck I like and try and make my version of that deck (there’s a good chance I won’t build it right) I would say, 70% to 90% of that time, I play completely original decks. Some decks I see look so complex I don’t even bother to try that play style, just looks too complex for me to even get try it or get it to work, Demon Hunter Quest Line being a good example. I’ve tried my own version of thief Rogue a few times and the newer coin Rogue. What I’m trying to say is I often try again and build new decks. Played all kinds. In all that time, Shaman/Elementals is the first deck I’ve played where I’m kinda like, I don’t really want to make another deck. I could just play this one.
I agree, noticed this week aswell the skill level of alot of decks is high + long games. That's why we like ele shaman, plays tempo, enough to think but can still be played while doing something else in the background to relax instead of having to calculate 20 things every turn
technically speaking sleep under the stars IS a warrior nerf. other than out right changing Odin I don't really know what you would even nerf for warrior tbh
Druid probably will remain the best starship deck. And Reno not poofing dormant constructs is probably not going to change much other than not auto winning against starships.
Im blown away the 4 mana 4/2 with divine shield isnt a 3 mana 4/2 with divine shield when cards in the game with that exact stat and divine shield exist
Seabreeze Chalice being 2 isn't a big loss to Freeze Mage using it... they've got enough Frost spell mana reduction that it'll be 1 (or 0) before the first time they toss it. I'd be mildly curious to see how that works in a Sif deck.
I think that nerfs for the following should be like this: Reska probably losing attack. Threads going up to 3. Sleep going up to 8. Funnel might be healing 2 or be 2 mana. Egg reducing it's pull by 3 instead of 4. Seabreeze going to 2.
Imo the nerf to Reno should empty BOTH boards and limit their spaces to 1. His voiceline is, "Looking for a standoff? Careful, it's against me!" So it makes sense that it's a 1v1 between Reno and the opponent's board. The fact that you could play Reno when you were ahead on board and seal the game was ridiculous. The card will still be good
Yeah no hit to spell power combo in mage, or shaman's "cast when drawn spam" is VERY worrying. I get wanting to let new cards breath, but those two are blatantly already too good.
@@Bladius_ asteroid shaman is just a super consistent deck where the stars have aligned to make things work, its basically a midrange/combo deck which means you have to end it quickly, so you get punished if youre slow or dont play minions, and just pray you get lucky. you can nerf those cards but that doesnt really change anything because shaman has enough tools to slow the game down between taunt armor elementals, gift, frogs, titan, zilliax, yogg, sasqwack, but now you just have a good wincon that isnt just incindius/gaslight combo, etheral oracle is probably the strongest card in the deck because it does everything you want which was the problem with the old incindius shaman deck, draw and spell power, triangulate is also a really strong card in the deck, extra copies meteor storm or gift alone is good let alone asteroids or eruptions. and thats the problems, this is a perfect storm of a deck where theres no real key cards holding it together, like conman
I main Shaman and from my perspective rainbow DK is the cancer. You have threads, the shaman fire spell drink, corpse explosion, icicle, that one 0 mana 5 6 lifesteal with taunt, ceaseless expanse, double starship piece with taunt that gives armor, reska, 2 mana 2/2 with rush that summons another 2/2, pseudo taunts like that one 1/4 that gives reborn to minions, the titan, etc etc. It is disgusting how much board control the deck has. It's unplayable. You deserve this, you're the strongest deck in the game. Stop crying.
SUTS needs a lot of gimping... nothing should read "Spend 7 mana, get 15 armor" - especially in the hands of the two classes that already stack armor like they're chimichangas at a Deadpool cosplay convention... the fact that it can late game literally also be "play this card for 2 more mana" (pick refresh 3 for all 3 picks), in decks that can already obscenely break the normal mana cap (god, I thought we were done with that when Guff rotated) is just ridiculous - draw 1, 3 armor, 2 mana refresh. As I've extoled to Blizzard repeatedly, and elsewhere, the power creep on these cards is just beyond absurd at this point.

@@conosigni Control? Most games end by turn 6 anyways, Reno just ends up being a dead card in hand. I’ve even seen some decks put Reno in ETC because it’s completely useless against how Aggro decks taking over the meta.
Re: Crewmates - Demon Hunter draws an insane number of cards... so finding your decked crew shouldn't be tough... it's the fact that they're 4m 4/4s with vanilla keyword abilities to them is the problem. There are literally 150 better cards you can be playing than those guys in that mana slot. If they don't do something to make the Crew uniquely better (3m? varying stats based on their keywords - 3/6 for a Taunt, 6/3 for a rush, 1/? for a poisonous...) then no amount of buffing of the cards that generate the Crew is going to help.
The big problem is that we don't have something like Broomstick or the Paladin location to give them Rush. One possible fix - when the Battlecry summons adjoining crewmates, the bonus effect on the one played should be added to all adjoining ones it summons.
I'm curious... Defile is 2 mana and deal 1 damage to everyone, if anything dies, do it again. Threads of Despair is literally just a triggered Defile... the big difference, of course, is that Defile only goes off until it ends. ToD can come back and haunt you later if anything survives the initial Death Blossom. I don't see 4 as viable... I think 3 and double Blood is probably more fair (although thematically the card is entirely Frost-Unholy, but that's already an idiotically overpowered combination, so there's no way it's getting tossed over there).
Maybe hot take: the libram weapon was not a part of the problem with librams. But I still dont mind buffing it. I thought it would be the 4/2. Also reno players somehow getting bullied AGAIN by blizzard lmfao.
For Reno, I get the feeling they'll be removing its ability to remove usually uninteractable elements from the board like still building starships etc.
They need to make the starship building process separate from the board. It sucks generating a random starship in a non-starship deck and having it take a spot on the board unless you pay the 5 mana.

They have to, the set is basically a flop for most classes who just reverted to old decks. Not just "card bad" either, the previous cards from the year actively break the whole set's theme by just wiping boards over and over, or deleting something you had to work for.
I know everyone dislikes going up against Elemental Mage but I hope the deck is still pretty viable. I quit playing back in 2019 and recently started again a couple weeks ago. Right now, Elemental Mage is the only thing I can run in Standard.

I like the fact that HS is doing a huge shake up but to be fair i would prefer two small changes rather than one big. I am afraid that if they went too far with this changes we will be salty for next weeks with no chance for a fix ;/
I’m hoping Seabreeze Chalice goes to 2 mana deal 3 (or 4) randomly split among all enemies; doing only minions really does kill the card, but switching it to 2 mana deal 4 wouldn’t really be that good compared to 1 mana deal 2, because spell damage buffs don’t combo as well in one turn if each chalice is twice the mana cost. Malted Magma on the other hand should definitely just only target minions; increasing its mana to 3 would probably kill the card.

Everything seems good, still i really expected the Libram draenei to go down to 3 mana so it could be playable, as it is i dont think libram will be relevant if one of its core cards is a trash 4 mana do nothing and lose tempo.

Since everything is mostly alot of minons, they just buff single target spells to infinity, 1mana deal 30 damage to one minon..... And aoe is better in today meta, who would guess with all those single removal spells why big minions don't see play
Which is funny. From my experience at least Libram Paladin is already not bad. The two cards they buffing tho are the ones I find rhe weakest so thats nice.
That Velen card needs a nerf. I kept killing it and everytime it dies it comes back over and over and over and over. When it was my opponent's turn his Velen card had like 80 attack and 66 health and his hero had 248 attack...
crewmate DH is actually really good right now (pre-buff). Theres a list that Ive been playing with an 80% WR lol. Unless the buffs are like +1 hp on diedra and +1 dmg on the 2 drop, this deck is going to be the new most hated one
I almost forgot about hearthstone for awhile, i stoped playing after the latest expansion I just couldn't keep up with any meta because I needed money to able to keep buying these cards in order to compete for rewards. Then I tried my best to just have fun and just play the one class I enjoyed and it was DK but then they needed that class to thr ground and continue to do these situations where they make powerful cards for other classes and leave little to no room for other classes to be able to counter their things because their cards got nerfed
If you don't want to spend money (f2p) don't stick to 1 class 😊 I rather have 6 decks with some legendaries missing and only reaching platinum 5. Then to have 1 full meta deck to reach legend that might get nerfed. I only craft ±3 legendaries and maybe 2 epics each expansion. (Have 7k dust + when 3 sets rotate out 3,5k i can dust and + 3 golden legendaries =15k dust) (I took 90 day break, gives free meta deck, game is fun again with new set)

Yogg got nerfed in the previous patch. I think 10 mana is *fair for it, even though I'm usually on the receiving end of it. The big miss in this balance patch was Ethereal Oracle. *Except in Druid. Big cards in general are unfair in a class with ramp.

That's not what most people play hearthstone for they don't want to sit there and just otk such a small playerbase wants that and they lean into those small otk players. This game is not made for otks there is no counterplay besides aggro.....
Just like control has no counter play besides combo I love control decks, but i can understand that a control heavy meta is boring Remember festival of legends where Blood Dk and Control priest were actually good? Fun for a control mirror but you try anything else and you will not have so much fun The best way to enjoy a game is to play the way you dont like to go against, so you learn why that playstyle exists and how it loses (of course sometimes blizzard makes huge balance mistakes but overall, dont like a deck? Play it and you dislike it less)

It would be fun if the elemental chain cards like Lamplighter would reset the counter after they are played. A single Lamplighter is a much smaller threat than it being played 3 times a turn with Shadowstep

Is it just me or is Lamp Lighter not the main problem in the Elemental Mage deck? Obviously yes its a massive massive issue and deals way too much damage and steals games early. But like, theyre still going to be doing that with their other hundreds of burn spells, endless draws, permanent spell damage buff and infinite board flooding.
It's still probably going to be an obnoxious tier 2 deck that people complain about for a long time,

Only one copy of spell damage fire guy and two copies of these. Plus you can draw fire guy late or draw your overdflows early. Lamplighter is just inevitable reliable death that they probably want to slow down and make double lamplighter a turn 10 move only.
Lamplighter is to strong, not alone but 2 of them in 1 turn = 16 facedamage. Plus mage elemental spell another 7+ damage. Is 23 face dmg turn 7-8 That's why it gets nerfed.
Idk, i haven't ran into the new spell damage variant a lot yet, but at least in perils the thing that felt the most annoying about elemental mage is that if you are playing a control deck against it, you can remove everything they have and heal as much as you want, and then just die to lamp lighter from hand which feels really silly for an aggro deck, so pre-new expansion i would've been happy about the lamp lighter nerf, but now i think i agree, it barely makes a dent

finally they nerfed the most important card the killed hearthstone, they finally nerfed reno YES. now constructed games ends on turn 8 instead of 6, now I can build my starships and die to hand without having to worry about reno 🤣

Coming back to this game several months ago, I always complained about paladinstone in low rank standard. I was dying to a 25 attack Leeroy with a 2 mana buff card. That’s why I only play wild lol it was awful to play against

Disappointed that lamp lighter is the only card getting a nerf for mage as I don’t think it particular needs a nerf. The deck overal is too easy to build, too easy to play, and too hard to stop. For paladin I think Yrel should have a Libram 1 mana cheat on her death-rattle.
It 100% needs a nerf, it's too much reach for an aggro deck like that. You can wipe every single board and still die on 8 to 2 lamplighters from hand.

Sonya not getting nerfed is crazy. I play at around rank 200 Legend and cycle rogues are so crazy, because they know what they can do with sonya.
They play everything must go for 0 mana, giants for 0 Mana and if that isnt enough they play Sonya and its over. Sonya, little pirate into cover artist and then either grifta combo or shadowstepped incindius.
Since it's apparently too much to ask for them to a do a rework of Sonya, the least they could do is bump it to 5 mana.

But imO its even more frustrating 2 die on Turn 4 or 5 against aggro and combo decks.

I'm in shambles, man. The best DK deck has a 55% winrate because it is alright against elemental mage (if you can draw threads and Airlock Breach on time). I'm currently on an 8 loss streak with it, getting pummeled by mages and druids in d6-8.
At this point I don't care about balance, I just want druid and mage to suffer.
You forget that other top tier classes are getting nerfed too so it all evens out. What really changes is DK no longer autowins certain matchups.
You're right, F for the current deck but starship Dk might rise to the top since the worst match up it had was against Reno Rainbow DK
I’ve been playing since the first year. .since before the first ‘new expansion’ came out. I suppose, 99% of that time I’ve played Wild. I play decks I’ve built myself. A good percentage of the time, I copy other general strategies or even decks, and extremely rarely, I’ll see a deck I like and try and make my version of that deck (there’s a good chance I won’t build it right) I would say, 70% to 90% of that time, I play completely original decks. Some decks I see look so complex I don’t even bother to try that play style, just looks too complex for me to even get try it or get it to work, Demon Hunter Quest Line being a good example. I’ve tried my own version of thief Rogue a few times and the newer coin Rogue. What I’m trying to say is I often try again and build new decks. Played all kinds. In all that time, Shaman/Elementals is the first deck I’ve played where I’m kinda like, I don’t really want to make another deck. I could just play this one.
I agree, noticed this week aswell the skill level of alot of decks is high + long games.
That's why we like ele shaman, plays tempo, enough to think but can still be played while doing something else in the background to relax instead of having to calculate 20 things every turn

Seabreeze Chalice being 2 isn't a big loss to Freeze Mage using it... they've got enough Frost spell mana reduction that it'll be 1 (or 0) before the first time they toss it. I'd be mildly curious to see how that works in a Sif deck.

This whole balance patch was an overall fail. It’s not going to change the meta at all
I think that nerfs for the following should be like this:
Reska probably losing attack.
Threads going up to 3.
Sleep going up to 8.
Funnel might be healing 2 or be 2 mana.
Egg reducing it's pull by 3 instead of 4.
Seabreeze going to 2.
reska losing attack is a buff, because then you can steal what youre attacking which opens up more possibilities
Reska going to 30 cost would be fine.
Threads should just get a second blood rune requirement.
Funnel should cost 2.

Imo the nerf to Reno should empty BOTH boards and limit their spaces to 1. His voiceline is, "Looking for a standoff? Careful, it's against me!" So it makes sense that it's a 1v1 between Reno and the opponent's board. The fact that you could play Reno when you were ahead on board and seal the game was ridiculous. The card will still be good

@@Bladius_ asteroid shaman is just a super consistent deck where the stars have aligned to make things work, its basically a midrange/combo deck which means you have to end it quickly, so you get punished if youre slow or dont play minions, and just pray you get lucky. you can nerf those cards but that doesnt really change anything because shaman has enough tools to slow the game down between taunt armor elementals, gift, frogs, titan, zilliax, yogg, sasqwack, but now you just have a good wincon that isnt just incindius/gaslight combo, etheral oracle is probably the strongest card in the deck because it does everything you want which was the problem with the old incindius shaman deck, draw and spell power, triangulate is also a really strong card in the deck, extra copies meteor storm or gift alone is good let alone asteroids or eruptions. and thats the problems, this is a perfect storm of a deck where theres no real key cards holding it together, like conman

I main Shaman and from my perspective rainbow DK is the cancer. You have threads, the shaman fire spell drink, corpse explosion, icicle, that one 0 mana 5 6 lifesteal with taunt, ceaseless expanse, double starship piece with taunt that gives armor, reska, 2 mana 2/2 with rush that summons another 2/2, pseudo taunts like that one 1/4 that gives reborn to minions, the titan, etc etc. It is disgusting how much board control the deck has. It's unplayable. You deserve this, you're the strongest deck in the game. Stop crying.

SUTS needs a lot of gimping... nothing should read "Spend 7 mana, get 15 armor" - especially in the hands of the two classes that already stack armor like they're chimichangas at a Deadpool cosplay convention... the fact that it can late game literally also be "play this card for 2 more mana" (pick refresh 3 for all 3 picks), in decks that can already obscenely break the normal mana cap (god, I thought we were done with that when Guff rotated) is just ridiculous - draw 1, 3 armor, 2 mana refresh.
As I've extoled to Blizzard repeatedly, and elsewhere, the power creep on these cards is just beyond absurd at this point.

Re: Crewmates - Demon Hunter draws an insane number of cards... so finding your decked crew shouldn't be tough... it's the fact that they're 4m 4/4s with vanilla keyword abilities to them is the problem. There are literally 150 better cards you can be playing than those guys in that mana slot.
If they don't do something to make the Crew uniquely better (3m? varying stats based on their keywords - 3/6 for a Taunt, 6/3 for a rush, 1/? for a poisonous...) then no amount of buffing of the cards that generate the Crew is going to help.
The big problem is that we don't have something like Broomstick or the Paladin location to give them Rush.
One possible fix - when the Battlecry summons adjoining crewmates, the bonus effect on the one played should be added to all adjoining ones it summons.
I'm curious... Defile is 2 mana and deal 1 damage to everyone, if anything dies, do it again.
Threads of Despair is literally just a triggered Defile... the big difference, of course, is that Defile only goes off until it ends. ToD can come back and haunt you later if anything survives the initial Death Blossom.
I don't see 4 as viable... I think 3 and double Blood is probably more fair (although thematically the card is entirely Frost-Unholy, but that's already an idiotically overpowered combination, so there's no way it's getting tossed over there).
Likely will give it an extra blood rune requirement.

The reno nerf will be "this card costs 12 mana", it goes down to 10 mana only in a "you're f'd moment" also can no longer remove dormant cards.
Lamplighter is probably going to be locked to damaging minions.
Maybe hot take: the libram weapon was not a part of the problem with librams. But I still dont mind buffing it. I thought it would be the 4/2. Also reno players somehow getting bullied AGAIN by blizzard lmfao.
Honestly as long as the weapon losea one durability thats a buff to it.

They need to make the starship building process separate from the board. It sucks generating a random starship in a non-starship deck and having it take a spot on the board unless you pay the 5 mana.

honestly didn't expect a patch this big, thought they wouldn't risk making something this drastic already (i'm not necessarily mad about it tho, hope they learned the lesson about tsunami lol)
They have to, the set is basically a flop for most classes who just reverted to old decks.
Not just "card bad" either, the previous cards from the year actively break the whole set's theme by just wiping boards over and over, or deleting something you had to work for.
I know everyone dislikes going up against Elemental Mage but I hope the deck is still pretty viable. I quit playing back in 2019 and recently started again a couple weeks ago. Right now, Elemental Mage is the only thing I can run in Standard.

I like the fact that HS is doing a huge shake up but to be fair i would prefer two small changes rather than one big. I am afraid that if they went too far with this changes we will be salty for next weeks with no chance for a fix ;/

They only know to add or remove mana crystals from cards. Don't assume they will change text descriptions.
Technically they could also just remove the armor from Reno... I highly doubt that's what they're doing though.
I’m hoping Seabreeze Chalice goes to 2 mana deal 3 (or 4) randomly split among all enemies; doing only minions really does kill the card, but switching it to 2 mana deal 4 wouldn’t really be that good compared to 1 mana deal 2, because spell damage buffs don’t combo as well in one turn if each chalice is twice the mana cost.
Malted Magma on the other hand should definitely just only target minions; increasing its mana to 3 would probably kill the card.
It should target minions only. They need to detour from that playstyle. Druid and mage abuse it. Time for new strats. No brainless ones.

Everything seems good, still i really expected the Libram draenei to go down to 3 mana so it could be playable, as it is i dont think libram will be relevant if one of its core cards is a trash 4 mana do nothing and lose tempo.

Since everything is mostly alot of minons, they just buff single target spells to infinity, 1mana deal 30 damage to one minon..... And aoe is better in today meta, who would guess with all those single removal spells why big minions don't see play

crewmate DH is actually really good right now (pre-buff). Theres a list that Ive been playing with an 80% WR lol. Unless the buffs are like +1 hp on diedra and +1 dmg on the 2 drop, this deck is going to be the new most hated one

I almost forgot about hearthstone for awhile, i stoped playing after the latest expansion I just couldn't keep up with any meta because I needed money to able to keep buying these cards in order to compete for rewards. Then I tried my best to just have fun and just play the one class I enjoyed and it was DK but then they needed that class to thr ground and continue to do these situations where they make powerful cards for other classes and leave little to no room for other classes to be able to counter their things because their cards got nerfed
If you don't want to spend money (f2p) don't stick to 1 class 😊
I rather have 6 decks with some legendaries missing and only reaching platinum 5. Then to have 1 full meta deck to reach legend that might get nerfed.
I only craft ±3 legendaries and maybe 2 epics each expansion.
(Have 7k dust + when 3 sets rotate out 3,5k i can dust and + 3 golden legendaries =15k dust)
(I took 90 day break, gives free meta deck, game is fun again with new set)

Most of the nerfs they did make are good, but they absolutely dropped the ball by not hitting Ethereal Oracle.

Yogg got nerfed in the previous patch. I think 10 mana is *fair for it, even though I'm usually on the receiving end of it. The big miss in this balance patch was Ethereal Oracle.
*Except in Druid. Big cards in general are unfair in a class with ramp.

Remember festival of legends where Blood Dk and Control priest were actually good? Fun for a control mirror but you try anything else and you will not have so much fun
The best way to enjoy a game is to play the way you dont like to go against, so you learn why that playstyle exists and how it loses
(of course sometimes blizzard makes huge balance mistakes but overall, dont like a deck? Play it and you dislike it less)
