YAYYYYY! A new episode!!!! Ooooooo, you need Faerie doors and a swing! It will be so magical...! I am thinking about doing pathways in my garden and inoculating them with winecap spores for the hubby. I am not a huge fan of the texture of mushrooms but I could dehydrate some and use them as flavoring...plus they do attract Faeries, and we all need a little magic in our lives!
Oooh that’s exciting! I keep looking at our mushies everyday like something will have changed but so far everything looks the same! 🤣 did you order yours online?
Yep from Grow Mushrooms Canada! I figured I'd start with these first as I'm still getting garden beds established. So looking forward to growing in my greenhouse for the first time too!
For morel mushrooms, they like fire! If you take a patch and do a controlled burn (I know this may be hard with bc climate) but there are communities around me that used to do a big controlled burn every year and morels would come up! Just something to try maybe! Even if your friends did a controlled burn in the fall near their morel patch they may see many more pop up!
The chainsaw cover in the back pocket is killing me xD I've been curious about growing mushrooms but assumed they were pretty hard without really putting any research into it lol definitely need to do some research cuz I feel like they would be so fun and cool to have
Mushrooms are so fun!!! Our wine caps have already had two flushes this year! The first one was insanely huge and absolutely delicious, the second was quite small but just as tasty. We topped them off with more hard wood chips so hopefully we get even more next year! It’s so exciting
@@TheWilsonsOnWilson Oh that's awesome!! I won't lie I'm actually a reeeally picky eater and have a hard time eating outside a very limited set of fruits and veggies, waiting to get to some doctors for some things but pretty sure I have Afrid if you know what that is at all. I've only ever tried one type of mushroom when I was pretty young so I definitely want to try more! I also need to learn how to cook 😅 so I can start trying to make things I don't like in different ways to see if preparing them differently or trying them in different meals or what not makes them more tolerable texture wise lol

Ugh I’m excited I want to see that episode
We can’t wait to share it!
See you Friday 😸
I plan on growing these mushrooms on wood chips. That way the mycelium will break down wood chips for garden.

I had a similar issue with my truck. Your battery is grounding out causing abnormal power issues when then truck is off!
