At first, he decides to run to the end of the road, then across town, then to the Mississippi border, then all the way to the West Coast. Eventually, he criss-crosses the country several times over a span of three years.
Is this your very first blind playthrough of Project Zomboid? It's somehow entertaining seeing the drama unfolding. Like in a horror movie, when you say, "Oh noooooo don't do that." Let us know if we are allowed to give a tip. As a beginner myself, I feel you 😂. Deaths are just a quick way to teleport at a random point at the map. Would be interesting to know what settings you are using.
@d1zzyyt I'm happy to share some of the things that I've heard/learned with you. 😊 #01 avoid sprinting as much as possible. Or your character will be out of breath to quickly and too exhausted in a fight, It will also alert other zombies near by. They are more then happy to help if you scream for it. Mostly helping to taste some of your delicious meat. Yummy! #02 if you are exhausted you can sit on the ground if noone is after you. The exhaustion debuff will go down and you can circle around your character with the right mouse button to keep an eye on your environment if you doing this outside. Your character can read something meanwhile. #03 you can push a zombie with space and position yourself on the Zombie. It can't move when you on it. In the options there is something to highlight the Zombie you are targeting. A green outline that I find myself very helpful. It's the first menu point and must be something like target outline or so. You have to select "for all weapon". (My menu is in German) #04 avoid guns if you are a beginner. It will attract more Zombies than you can kill and with low aiming level many shots will miss. #05 - you can get rid of them if they loose sight of you or can't hear you anymore. You can use the environment. They will tend to break doors and windows to get to you rather than routing around a building. That's mostly the chance to get some distance through fences. They shouldn't see you with high wooden ones between and can't jump over a high metal one. I avoid fighting more than 2 zombies at once. Normally I choose crouching over fighting. It increases stealth by time. You crouch with C. Sometimes I totally was sure they will see me, but they didn't. 😅 There is a great series on TH-cam how to survive the first week. I'm still learning. I wish you so much fun and I am excited to see more of this gameplay. 😊
