Enslavement: The True Story of Fanny Kemble is a marvelous movie. Before I watched Enslavement, I had never heard of Fanny Kemble--a woman who kicked ass! Kemble was an ordinary person, but when she was confronted with evil she got in there and fought back. Fanny paid a high price for standing up against slavery, but in the end she dealt the Confederacy a killer blow. I tell everybody about this old movie. Old or not, its a damn good story.

Her mom was Dutch, her Dad was originally Polish-Jewish origin, but born in England. Jane (Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg) was born in England, so she is English with Dutch-Polish origin
