His first film "Naalaiya Therpu" in 1992 was a Big Disaster. Magazines and Critics are Criticized him so Badly. One of the leading Magazine Criticized his Look "What a Pathetic Face. Why we Spend Money to See this Ugly Face". He faced his Criticism at the age of 18 and then after few years in 1996 only he can see his first success and few years later the same magazine wants vijay's picture to post in front page for selling million copies only his hardwork and down to earth quality to reach him in that height today. Today he is the highest paid actor in kollywood.

That first when he climbs the bus to see his fans gathered from alll over tamilnadu .Fans came there for supporting vijay na for the IT raid which was thrown by central government on him.THE raid people couldn't take an single piece of amount from Vijay's house,he had all proper documents.Then he came back for shoot in Neyveli,there was a lot of support for him there at the last day of shoot there in Neyveli.He just took a selfie with his fans there,which he posted in his twitter account.For thanking his fans and to see his fans he climbed the bus .He is such an actor who always loves fans very much than any actor
