One other thing I forgot to mention is using ranged on them, which could be good since the strength drain wouldn't matter then. I wouldn't want to bother picking up arrows, so I'd be stuck using bronze. Looking at DPS calcs it's still a bit worse compared to addy arrows than 89 str melee vs 99 str, but it's a viable alternative.

You should give greater demons a try at the demonic ruins. Free prayer so no food. Can use silverlight, power ammy and monk robes for cheap (i find it better then rune scim with str ammy and monks robes).

I actually took a good look at these a while back but I haven't tried them out yet. I am working on 99rc on my f2p hcim, and after mining 250k essence I started looking for alternative methods. I am still currently just mining but I might try these out. Might be slower but a change of pace might be nice for a bit.

I plugged those into my calcs today and they aren't great. Comparable to afking fleshies and you can't afk them.

What do you think about Flesh Crawlers versus Red Spiders for afk combat? Didn't see it on your spreadsheet
red spiders have no drops and hit harder than fleshies. they are marginally faster xp tho. decent option for regs, bad for irons
