That’s a good looking car.
You can definitely tell that Peugeot’s head designer now works at Renault….!
They are all pretty much part of the same parent company so u see a similar theme on all of them
@@thug3mThey are not. Renault and Peugeot part of Stellantis are different houses
@@aatonnaa4958 Incorrect Renault IS NOT part of stellantis, its PSA peugeot/citroen thats part of stellantis, remember renault is not connected to PSA they are however involved with nissan and its a renault nissan platform which shows up as many cars including the Qashqai that this sits on.
@@aatonnaa4958Renault is not in Stellantis Group
Renault & Peugeot part of Stellantis???
Only Peugeot is part of Stellantis not Renault!
Great looking car all round.
Progressive driving ❤👏😆 - yep - that’s the description ! Vroom vroom !
You have been busy lately Mark. I never understand this desire to put such big tyres on cars. They cause more road noise and reduce economy. 18 inch would be fine for this surely. No wiper blade …. What is it with manufacturers not putting these on. Mad. I like a nice thick boot cover. It definitely helps with sound insulation. Look forward to the next.
Smaller wheels would be a bit lost on this that’s the only thing
I like it.
Very good review.
I'll have a look when its time to change our car
The grill reminds me of Moloko's disco ball dress in the video for "Sing it Back". Nice looking bus!
lol… that’s very specific…
Always nice to see a boot that’s been hoovered vigorously!
🤣
@@NobbyOnCars Thought you’d enjoy that! Great review by the way! Love your channel, you’re one of the best on TH-cam!
That’s a stunning centre rear arm rest!
To those who say it's a costly car. This is 2024. We won't be back to 2020 prices, it's time to accept it. 51,000 for a car like that is reasonably priced, or go and buy German, you'll have to put 15 or 20k more on the table. That Rafale delivers great value for money. Seriously I just don't get what people expect now in 2024.... to buy a car like this one for just 15k ? Well that's not happening. Sorry.
They won't sell many in the UK. 38k and upwards apparently. Consider your average Renault customer. How many have dropped that on a car ? French car makers traditionally couldn't sell big French cars well in the UK no matter the quality. So where are the buyers for this coming from ? They have previously done a bonfire of models in the UK and they may be doing that again unless they can attract customers from the big German three
@@robsmall6466 Sheep behaviour.
@@garnray8568 Explain sheep behaviour ? Not every brand can sell to the same customers. So explain how a current Arkana owner is going to find an additional best part of 10k to get behind the wheel of one of these when they have other expenses like a mortgage ? Or your average luxury buyer who can afford to absorb the Audi, Merc, BMW price increase ? It's not sheep. It's knowing who your customer is. Casio and Rolex are two different brands that service two different customers
It's basically a coupe version of the Austral.
Did you say €51k to start off the pricing Mark? Seems unnecessarily expensive if that's the case?
Is it an Arkana replacement?
No it’s much bigger than Arkana
I definitely see a Peugeot/Citroen here. One may even think that Renault quietly joined Stellantis without telling anyone. 😅
Skinny engine Nobby the Clio hybrid is a 4 cylinder 1.6. I reckon it's 10 k overpriced to sell in significant numbers. Superb review thankyou 🍀🍀🍀
Roof glass saint gobain
The new Scenic EV has the same panoramic roof.
Me gusta el coche en general, quiza no tanto el volante, el precio, y motor combustión pequeño.
Solarbay = Saint Gobain !
I just love the overkill of 3 stalks on the right side, plus gear selectors... that is great... (ironically). Design-wise, it is ok-ish. Compared to the cars seen at the Shanghai Motor Show, it looks clunky and old-fashioned, by the looks, technology, made for old Europe. Even the reviewer is like meh 13:43 - 14:45...
think Fisker ocean
Very similar to the Peugeot 408. Nice cars but the 1.2L 3 cyl wet belt engine is a turn-off for me
Will be interesting to see whether this sells better than the Austral as that is a rare sight on Irish roads.
True! See lots of Arkanas though
Where is the utility in a sports utility coupe?
Electricity is a utility! 😂
not the first with that roof,,,,check carwow
Mustang Mach-e
Another stunning French car. Personally I prefer the Peugeot 3008. I don't like portrait displays and thick bezels
looks good but getting high on price for a reno
Nobby tavascan review
Mid edit
Is this Renault's variant of the Citroen C5 X and the Peugeot 408?
Bigger than the 408 for sure
Renault's pricing is getting a bit silly, hence why there are very few Nostrals on the road
Their finance deals are nothing special either
I wish French cars would push the wheels further apart....big cars, small wheelbase, huge overhangs. Never looks quite right.
Respectfully I disagree. French car makers have levelled up big time. French cars are absolute quality now in 2024.
For cars that purport to be ''upmarket''...is it _really_ too much to ask to mask off the paint colour on the interior of the doors with a bit of plastic?..seems it is.🤨😑🙄
Agree
Tyre noise is evident!! A problem.
the car is running on Bridgestone, thats the main reason for the noise!! I am running a austral with michelin tyres, this car is realy quite on the road. i never buy a car running on bridgestone.
Should have called it the Renault Depreciation!
Audi
Renault Awful. 😂
or Renault Recall.🤣
they are better than the Volkswagen group when it comes to reliability😉
So the AWD when it comes will be early to mid 60's..........
Best of luck Renault
The Chinese invasion is going to kill these legacy auto makers.
Hard to know how it’ll play out to be honest. I don’t see these brands rolling over
@@NobbyOnCars I can't see many of those selling at €65k or even €55k for the 1.2 in your video. (your good video)
It's striking lookin'.......no doubt.
But did they all get together at some stage and decided that €50k is the gateway to "middle of the road"
(I'm just getting grumpy with age)
It’s a Renault 😴
This!
Who sell heaps and heaps of cars….
@@NobbyOnCars Yeah sad isn’t it
Yeh ! another overpriced SUV thank goodness. I'll wait for the lease price to halve within 12 months before congratulating myself.
