    Masta Killa:
The flow changes like a chameleon
Plays like a friend and stabs you like a dagger
This technique attacks the immune system
Disguised like a lie, paralysin' the victim
I've been listening to this song for almost 30 years and I knew how tightly written Masta Killa's verse was. But I JUST peeped how deep these 4 bars are. Masta Killa is so overlooked and underrated, 2nd only to Deck
Homicide's illegal and death is the penalty
What justifies the homicide when he dies in his own iniquity?

Not even Wu Tang compares to this! That said, it's unfair to compare everything to this. It's like saying rock music today is trash because there aren't any rock bands today that makes music as good as The Beatles 🤣
I'm actually a fan of Wu Tang, and have a lot of love for them... But I do not think they are among the greatest. Why? They fell off so quickly! They've been releasing new albums every few years for almost three decades. How much of that is memorable? 36 Chambers is among the best of the best, but what about the albums released after that? They've been consistently mediocre. I'm only including group albums here. If we include solo albums, we are no longer talking about them as a group. (That said, I think Ghostface Killah has been extremely consistent with his solo catalogue.)

I mean come on, they were ALL so fire
They all had that style that kept your head bangin
I moved to N.Y about 2 years ago and my first day here i was bumpin Wu and many others. A dude banged on my door so when i opened it he asked " is that you bumpin that Wu?" I said "Yeah" he said " i Have a problem with that, It's not loud enough"
Got to love true Hip Hop fans!
