I watched all the videos that I could to fix my friends "popping " door. NONE of the parts worked. Then I found the solution . It doesn't cost a cent. All I did is flip the lower cam upside down.(smooth side up). Use some grease on this lower part, set the door back in place. Works like a charm ! SO FAR WILL LET YOU KNOW

Relatively quick and painless job. Cam on the base hinge on the fridge was still in good shape. Cam on the door bottom was worn completely flat.

Are the door CAM parts the same for both the right fridge and left freezer door ?

I'm not sure if you could help me, but... I bought my Whirlpool fridge at Lowe's, when I called Lowe's they said they don't carry any replacement parts, and gave me a number for a parts place. The lady on the phone gave me this part # (W10329686) like in your video but that is just for the cam, as I understand. I don't think she knew exactly what I was talking about. The hinge pin broke on the bottom of the fridge door, I think because the cam was worn. The metal hinge pin broke into two pieces and fell out, and the door fell off. So I need the cam piece AND the hinge pin. Is there a part # for the hinge pin, or the whole hinge like as a kit? My model # is Whirlpool ED5VHEXVB01. That's Zero One on the end. There is also a model that ends with 00 but mine is 01 if it makes a difference.
