I had no idea this game was so fulll of extras. This was the first Star Wars game I ever played. Great memories! Although I don't recall the graphs being so bad, and the music SO terrible. But will forever have a special place in my heart. I recall life-like graphics and music in my head though. The space battle was the best experience I had in video gaming in the time. I loved seeing all those lasers running across the screen because it was a space battle!
the graphics are "bad" because the game was first developed for the N64 and then ported to PC. Also, my computer being a windows 10 means that some graphical rendering is no longer fully supported. Example: the disappearing buildings in Curoscant Encounter (2nd Bonus lvl). I remember playing that level as a kid on a Win XP and the game didn't have graphical problems like that.
@@Polybius98 I figured it had to do with backwards compatibility, those disappearing buildings did not seem like the game was supposed to run. But still, the fact that they used a cardboard cut out for the people's heads and the Flash speeder's pilot model tell you this is from another time… an ancient time. Hahahaha. I got a question… before the internet boom. How did you know the secret codes for the hidden levels. I had no internet at the time of playing. I enter the passcodes screen but never knew what to type in there.
Damn I remember this game looking alot better back in the day. Still was a great game even though I was stuck on the first driving level for far too long.
Awesome. Wish they'd remaster this game and all the Rogue Squadron games like they did with Episode 1 Racer!!! Just I'd like to see a graphics improvement to all the older games.
I'm glad that Disney made the NX Naboo Police Cruiser canon in the 5th issue of the Darth Vader 2020 comic, but that's not the only thing from this game that's canon Gavan also taking part on the attack on the Lucrehulk-class Battleship Vuutun Palaa during the Battle of Naboo in Episode I the Phantom Meance. I wish they would bring the NB-1S Royal Bomber back into canon as the Naboo have no bomber of their own. Too bad the droid bombers in this game aren't canon as they could had fought alongside the Hyena-Droid bombers which they were made before the Clone Wars tv series came out but though the Hyena bombers are still cool in their own way.
idgaf if this game had bad graphics or whatever, this game is a MASTERPIECE, pretty epic, played it a lot as a child, best mission is the last one you hear many ppl suffering all over the place xD
@@Polybius98 Worse than that for Naboo at War for crying out loud everyone will be killed like they were screaming and dying and death they end up in a bloodbath
There is one upgrade in the program which can only be unlocked by passcode: The "double ammunition" passcode. From N64 to Remastered, unannounced and neglected.
Those are stellar particles meant to show movement, otherwise it will be very confusing wether or not the ship is moving when nothing else is on screen
So how does this game play on modern PCs? been thinking of buying a used copy of ebay but I know newer PCs and older games can have issues and don't wanna have to mess with settings to make it work

this game looked so bad even back then. Forget ps1, this had ps0.5 graphics. Look at the character "model" on the vehicle, that's YOUR character, the guy who you always see everywhere... it's freaking 2 images cross sectioned. It's like a freaking kinder surprise toy
Remaster is needed!
YEAH!!
Let the Force flow though you
I will be happy with a gog version

Good for you
The way the droids say “Drop your weapons! You’re under arrest!” fucking kills me.

10:24 The soundtrack in this game is so cool! Starting from Duel of the Fates into the original theme.
I am appalled. I had no idea this game existed!!!
Damn I remember this game looking alot better back in the day. Still was a great game even though I was stuck on the first driving level for far too long.
This game was so difficult to me because I played as a very young child. I still loved every bit of it 🎉. I was stuck on some level forever tho 😂
They should remake this game on the Battlefront II engine. The N-1 Starfighter in that game is simply beautiful.
They'll probably release dlcs with it to unlock the secret missions😂
Very nostalgic

1:10:38 the revenge mission was super satisfying
compressed screams everywhere. lol
Always had the feeling Borvo would betray them. A Hutt is a Hutt after all.
Good ole Lucas Arts
I can't get over how good that draw distance is.

This is an Episode 1 sort of the version of only the game Rogue Squadron.
Wow! As somebody who loves the phantom menace, I would love to play this!

I won’t Failed you No longer I MUST SAVE THE REPUBLIC RIGHT NOW!

Yes, I remember that one!
The Sith extermination missions are gruesome. Wonder why nobody ever complained about it focusing instead on GTA?
they really pumped out some shit back then
Totally not calling you a war criminal for destroying a prisoner transport that had prisoners at the gates of Camp 4🤣
