@@prestige934 2. Compare do other dps catalysts she is one of the best choices for f2p. She is very easy to use and apply consistent pyro damage, overall a budget klee and her dmg is very consistent.

for early AR new players, yanfei fischl combo for overload EASILY CARRY YOU till late game and need only from little to mid investment to do damage.
This is exactly what I did until AR 40. My yanfei only hit 4-11k on her charged attack (11k as Crit?) and used her with Fischl for just some energy and overload, actually easy mode. But eventually, I replaced my yanfei with walnut.
my new team is Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Diona and Jean... Jean is just there for healing, honestly, and I'll get a replacement eventually (though Jean is still really good and an underrated 5 star)
Somehow this combination is better than using yoimiya who lack of aoe pyro applications. Fischl could aoe apply electro while yanfei applying pyro aoe. BOM BOM BOM chain explosions
@@Zeon_SpaceX Yoimiya is very good at single target like bosses, while she is bad when it comes to enemy above 2. As yanfei its just the opposite.
I'm planning to get yanfei from lantern rite and summon on ganyu for constellations, is fichl good at c0? I can also use my beidou which is well built and crowned, I don't wanna use xinqui since she applies pyro faster then xinqui so vape might be hard to do

Raiden is a good support for Yanfei as the explosion from overload doesn’t matter with Yanfei’s long range :)

It's funny when there's a explosion they fly high and because yanfei attacks fast and Raiden creaters overload, sometimes they will stay in the air flying higher and higher as you attack
Lisa/Xiangling for overload is also fine. Explosions keep everyone away from these ~squishy~ catalyst users.

It's actually funny, because they did indeed mention on the chibi stream that the inventory will be raised to 1,5k. And yet somehow most people just zoned out and kinda missed it.
The genshin community are not well known for their high iq.

i think people were still too riled up about the anniversary and Childe banner to really focus on it.
people were too distracted about short term rewards to notice the long term QOL improvements.
I’ve been a Yanfei main since day one and pick her in every single abyss. Exploring new maps with her is super easy, flying enemies or enemies on uneven terrain are her favorite preys😉

I think I should get better artifacts for her since I always use her character but I’m pretty bad at understanding artifacts and if they’re good or not 💀
@@beelzeburger5611 Basically, you should avoid flat ATK & flat DEF (flat = not in percentage %, geo characters need defense, but other than that, it's pretty useless). What you want is: Energy recharge, ATK%, Crit dmg and Crit rate. Depending on the character, you need different things (for example: Raiden Shogun needs a LOT of Energy recharge, Sucrose needs elemental mastery etc.), but all characters need Crit dmg and crit rate.

i’m f2p and i’m in the that situation but i’ve been playing since klees banner so there’s a lot of buildup
I am f2p and i have over 1000 5 star artifacts. Yes i touch grass
I have about 1k LOCKED five-star artis (i dont lock everything, ive foddered quite a lot of 5*s as well), and im not a whale by any means - you just get quite a lot of artifacts in the course of playing for a year
Yanfei is so fun! She’s the only catalyst character I enjoy and have built. I got her c4 or 5 when she came out aswell. I want to 90 her soon but I’m working on to many characters right now 😅

I'm 8 out of 14 characters leveled 90, I have 5 4*weapons and one of each 3* leveled 90 as well
Yanfei works amazingly with 2 piece crimson 2 piece glad/wanderer set actually, and full shimenawa might actually surprise you with how good it can be on her.
I use two crimson two wanderers. I’m satisfied with my normal attack.

as a yanfei main, i was waiting for this video for ages lol jokes aside she's one of the strongest 4 stars in the game and she's very fun to play. if you are planning to build yanfei, i highly recommend to do it
as an aspiring yanfei main, can i ask what artifact set and weapon you recommend? im currently running 4 piece crimson witch for the overload bonus (i run her with raiden) but i was thinking about switching to wanderers. any thoughts?
@@cinnamo7 for the weapon, i’m using the widsith. it’s a really strong weapon overall especially with refinements. f2p recommendations would be probably dodoco tales or mappa mare(the crafting weapon) . as for the artifact sets crimson is really good for the overall dmg, retracing bolide is good if u have at c4 or have a shielder, and shimenawa set is really good on her too if u have good pieces. but i’m using the wanderers set bc i have good pieces on that set and em and charged atk bonus is quite good on yanfei

@@windy-fei I’ve seen a lot of yanfei players use lost prayer but I personally am using mappa mare while working on leveling my widsith and it’s pretty good.
@@windy-fei I like that weapon on her but widsith is also good, use the one u need to balance her crit stats, I have a really good crimson crit dmg circlet so I use lost prayer uwu

My favorite Yanfei team: Yanfei(CA)/Xingqiu(Q)/Raiden(E)/Zhongli(E) or Venti(Q) or Bennette(Q)

Im using her in a comp which i named “Todoroki” with Benny, Rosaria, and Sucrose. She’s built okay but melt compensates it all. Rosaria’s ult alternates with her attacks to trigger melt.

@@tojislefttoe7505 No. Sacrificing her burst uptime for the charged atk bonus is not worth it. Her best artifacts are wanderers and crimson witch
Yanfei is one of my favorite character, mechanics wise. Once you nail the sequence for her kit, it starts to feel like playing characters in Black Desert, the combo just flows and then you swap out to your rotations. Can't use her recently due to friendship levels haha, but I definitely enjoyed playing and listening to her "boom" in JP voice over. It's like listening to the IDGAF side of Ai Hayasaka from Love is War.

Not sure if this is the most efficient way:
Charged atk > E > CA > dash in > Q > CA and so on, really depends on the situation.

NA x3 > CA > E > CA > Q > CA and when in burst mode you only have to go NA > CA bc it recharges her seals super fast

used to be a fischl dps main. and when i tested yanfei to just build and see her strength, man i was impressed. i lack of pyro characters so having her now as my dps really is a lot less stressful for me. i still have my fischl as support and sometimes physical dps
(and as crazy as it sounds i have raiden as my support for her)
Raiden is a great support/burst for pyro applying ranged characters, such as Yanfei, Klee, and to some degree, Yoimiya. Her skill allows you to proc overload with having to chase the mob down when it flies away.

Yanfei, Xingqui, Bennett, Raiden is nasty, Yanfei's auto attacks are like fireworks going off. Raiden is great for making it so Yanfei can burst fully buffed with little down time.

Interestingly, The stacks seem to start refreshing even before the animation starts for the first 4 being consumed. I regained all 4 seals in less than 4 seconds, and the first one appeared in about 0.5 seconds after her charged shot hit the ground!

yeah! usually i did the charged attack early, then the seal appears and the attack has technically consumed that one stack so I get max stack bonus
this is pretty good during her burst
I noticed that too. I was so happy when I realized that even at c6, while her burst is active, you still only need two AA to get the max stack charge attack.
It's her burst. Her burst grants a seal every few seconds on top of a seal gained from auto attacks.

mine does like 15k on vaporized but when widsith does its thing it gets up to 25k and on melt she does like 35k those the highest numbers i've seen when playing the game myself
I’m an on/off Yanfei main (I get bored easy so have a couple of characters I switch as my mains) and I love her so much! She is squishy but her play style is really fun and she’s just super enjoyable to play
Genshin need to raise the Resin max from 160 to 200 or 250 to reflect we now have so many domains and bosses. And they need to shortened the replenish from 1 every 8 minutes to 1 every 5 minutes or something to reflect all the resin is needed for all the domains and bosses. Please make a video about this so every other influencer can talk about it and maybe Mihoyo listen.
they might decrease resin costs, but they will never increase it. It's a gacha game, you have to pay for that I'm afraid.

Just started building her yesterday, she is the most fun to play pyro character for me and you can basically just use her + Zhongli (or any shield character) to destroy Oceanid lol.
I pair her with Raiden, very satisfying.

She’s my main DPS at C5 I also use Dodoco catalyst since it increases charge attack by 32 percent, she hits really hard :)

@@ika7468 Dodoco outperforms Widsth untill its r4. Even than i wouldnt use Widsth unless shes a sub DPS/you have a sub DPS that takes 10+ secounds on Field

when Moga was about to defeat the Geovishap with Yanfei, the dude literally spawned as a pyro LOOOOOOOOOL
They did mention the artifact storage increase in the stream. I remember watching it through dish and she was freaking out about it while I didn't understand the hype since my artis storage is never over 100.
How do you do that? When I was a lower AR I also was able to sort the bad artifacts out but now I have about 600 artifacts in my bag because you'll never know if you need one of them and about 80 artifacts are on characters.
@@MiyuTat Yeah that makes sense. For me, I always trash the ones that aren't good into the artifact strongbox or use them as fodder. I don't really keep a lot of stuff, I have about 70 good artifacts that I took to level 20. And I never farmed too much because I don't have that many characters raised and I've been saving all my primogems since 1.5 so no new characters to build either.
@@MiyuTat idk when u start building 1-2-3 characters and level up new artifacts for them it can easily go below 100. if you are aiming for better than average substat rolls of course
I think 2pc crimson and 2pc glad/shimenawa would be a good alternative to 4pc wanderer’s
@@adyensp 2pc crimson and 2pc wanderers might be better since you ideally wanna use her with vape and EM is a better stat than atk% for reactions. 2pc wanderers and pyro resonance is better than 2pc glad/shimenawa. a better alternative would be 4pc shimenawa but 4pc wanderers is still the best option
Yanfei is the first character I crowned in game, and she does a lot of damage! I have a 4pc crimson witch on her and use her with Mona for vaporizes. She does around 45K charged on average for me
Yanfei works really well in overload comps since her range is super long and it homes in on enemies so even if hillichurls getting thrown away doesn't affect her

I love Yanfei! I got her c6 on her first banner and was kinda sad cause i remember wanting someone else but I love how smooth her rotation is. I use Yanfei, raiden, rosaria and diona. Also Yanfei rotation is Burst, charged attack, skill, charged attack, then 2 autos into a charged until burst is gone.
I would recommend 4 piece with of flames. I think it raises more her dmg in general instead of just applying to charged attacks and even if you lose the 80 em you get a reaction dmg bonus plus the pyro dmg bonus of course. In addition, the 2 piece bonus gets increased by 100% when using the skill to a max of 5 times I think. Each stack has a 10 second duration but her e has a 9 second cooldown so you always have the bonus up 👍
I feel at c6 her Charged attacks are really her source of damage, while yes her burst can do good damage her E and Q are really only there to boost charged damage.
Also I only have lavawalker sets and flat crimson

I'm happy moga finally raised her. She was my very first real dps char that i raised and she help carried my abyss from just 11-3 to 12-3 with xq and bennet. She is even my first ever triple-crowned char

Hi !! Just for anyone who wants to try to build Yanfei.
- Weapon -
There are a lot of valid weapons you could put on her but here is my opinion: (1) Lost Prayers, (2) Dodoco Tales (f2p), (3) The Widsith (f2p), (4) Sacrifical Fragments. Lastly, you could also slap Thrilling Tales on her if you want her to be a support.
- Artifact sets -
4x Crimson, 4x Wanderers, 2x Crimson 2x Wanderers, 4x Retracing Bolide (only if you have her c4), 4x Shimenawa (Trust me on this one, I’ve tried her on this set and she actually did 133k dmg).
- Talents -
(First Priority/Normal Attack)
It’s quite obvious that you should level up her Normal Attack. Her charged attack dmg will be increased and her main source of damage is definitely her Charged Attacks.
(Second Priority/Elemental Burst)
(Third Priority/Elemental Skill)
And for anyone asking, here is my build I usually run her on:
60.2% Crit Rate
120.0% Crit Dmg
Lost Prayers
4x Crimson
C6
Talents are 10/10 (13) /10 (13)
I got my yanfei on freedom sworn banner, as I did one 10 pull for fun - the same pull I got atlas. I havent been playing the game for too long then, I started the very last week of 1.5. She, Kazuha and Eula have been there since the beginning for me, and it's so nice to see a showcase where someone uses 4p Wanderers - most other I've seen use crimson witch, which I do not use. It's so great to see a showcase where the damage is close to what I output! :D
Yanfei is my first lvl 90 character and even with full friendship I rarely put her out of my team, she is so fun to play and her JP voice is just so beautiful. Thank you for this video! ♥︎

I have her at c6 and she's been one of my favorite characters to play with, super easy and deals insane damage
I really wish you'd also do a solo showcase as well, like only using that one character for one round, and then go with using your supports. Watching your numbers in these videos are honestly just support showcases, with a sprinkling of the newest flavor.
Usually, I use her as main dps with Beidou as main support. Yanfei can benefit from Beidou atack speed boost from her e, and she can create overload reaction when surrounded by Beidou's burst shield while being protected.
Finally a new yanfei video. ive been maining her since her last banner , got her c6 and been looking to see what people are using.

You try Eula and Zhongli, they can do it in one Eula's burst and even get her energy back. So you could break that time limit and get maybe 15 sec!
She's one of the most fun characters to use. Not only she deals a good amount of damage, but her animation is also really cute.
I started playing genshin around the Zhongli Rerun banner where I got Yanfei and have been using her as my main DPS ever since so I got to test her with some different builds and would say wanderer is a very solid choice for her prioritizing her charged attack or crimson with more focusing on elemental mastery and with an electro character for that overload is best with her dou to some annoying internal cool down mechanics
Finally I can base my yanfei on how you did yours
The way I use Yanfei is basically E->charged->Q->Spam Charge but sometimes they only really need E and or Charged
It's so good to finally see her build, yanfei was my second main after razor and she carried me through most of the game, I even managed to get a lost prayer for her lol

Yess love Yanfei. She has been my main dps since I got her in the beginning and is probably one of my best bUilt characters on my team. Happy to see the love
I’m running Yanfei with 4pc wanderers and crimson agate as her weapon. Normally I pair her with a Cryo or hydro user for the amazing reactions and just her E gives me around 29-32k in damage. Keep in mind I’m not using any buffs or having a benny in my team. Her attack rotations are quite interesting to me because after using her burst I do 2 attacks and then charge attack. Oh and no her charge attack does not generate a seal, once a charged attack is used then all of the seals are used as well
Out of all the characters I have including my 8 5*’s, she remains my favorite. Triple crowned c6 queen.
I have her in 2 piece wonders + 2 piece crimson, I usually use her with a melt team so the extra elemental mastery works great and crimson is just there for the pyro damage
for DPS, I think u would deal better with 4 wanderer/ 4 witch, and pyro goblet,

I'm so happy that u gave Yanfei a chance, Moga! I've been waiting for you to build her to ur way and the day has finally arrived!
She's definitely squishy and needs a shield -unless u get her at C4 - so that she's not interrupted mid-attack. Her Normal and Charged attacks hit pretty hard and has a slight homing mechanic - very good for air-born enemies. Although her range is pretty good, sometimes her attacks will miss if the enemies are beyond her reach.
I usually start the fight in a crowd with her E ability to instantly generate her Scarlet Seals, then use a Charged attack. Use her Normal attack to generate the seals again, followed by her Charged.
With her Burst, the seals appear per second, allowing u to have more Charged attacks. Using her E while she's in her Ult gives u more Charged attacks = creating more DMG.
I usually have her teamed up with Zhongli or Diona for shields; Xingqiu for Vaporize and his Ult; and either Raiden Shogun, Xiangling, or Kazuha.

Used to be a Yanfei main, dont use her in overworld anymore, but i still pick her up in Abyss. This made me nostalgic!

I love Yanfei. Finally she gets some respect! For some reason I think a lot of content creators hated on her at release and no one wanted to use her. Sad because she is really strong and easy to use unlike other catalyst users which are clunky or boring.
Im planning on making yanfei my first triple crown character (currently at 2/3) so im so happy to see her get the recognition she deserves :)
Her animations are just so clean.
I run her wanderers as well. Just so satisfying to drop the seal on baddies.
Your yanfei is cracked, I was wondering how broken shiminawa would be on her, maybe if u have some of those you could test out her damage compared to crimson witch. Cool video none the less keep up the great work! :)

yea but, you could use her burst first, then charge attack spam while its up then u use your e, idk i dont use her that much (or shiminawa for that matter idk how it works completely)

I've been using Yanfei for a while know because I pulled Lost Prayer and I didn't have any catalyst users so I built her. Honestly this video taught me I should probably try out the Wanderer's set and build some EM on her.
ive been using yanfei since zhongli's banner!! shes my second fav after keqing and one of my best dps :> i just got her to c3 with childe's banner and im so happy

I don't know if this tip helps but when you do your burst
Burst - CA - E - CA - NA - CA - NA - CA
(Don't have C6)That's my combo even in 4 stacks I think that might work. Her seals generate in 0.7 sec interval so... just 1 Normal Attack is enough.
Ps. Can you try Shiminawa on her?
I'm using that combo too. Yanfei is a pretty simple character. If you spent a little bit of time on her, I think you will eventually figured the combo out.

One thing to consider about yanfei, is her charge atk can't hit enemies in higher elevation, like floating or flying enemies (like ruin hunter for example). That flaming stamps always hit the ground and a little meter above it (due to its area).
Love seeing Yanfei getting the attention she deserves. A good rotation for her attacks is E ca burst ca n2 charged (for c6) :)

if i recall rightly 4 pc crimson witch works fantastic on her if you can nail the sequence so that her attacks proc vaporize and not xingqiu's swords if you're using him for hydro application, which can take some practice. wanderer is the alternative, any other options are not coming to me
looking forward to exploring tsurumi video by the way! i finished the questline today and really liked it. ran around looking for the stone slates and now i have 90% tsurumi exploration lol
Aspiring Yanfei main here. I'm currently building her and so far I really enjoyed the shimenawa's on her, though it means I won't ult much but the 50% charge atk bonus is really nice. But I might try wanderer's if I have a good piece somewhere. She is really fun to play!

From my experiences with yanfei, in her burst mode she instantly starts with one scarlet seal after charge attacking
