    You're a life saver just purchased for my 75 gallon aquarium and was having trouble connecting it to the sink didn't know I had to unscrew the aerator from faucet.

    You made this crazy puzzle make sense to us! Also, we used a hose. In that sense, the tool for the faucet wasn't even necessary 2:43. Basement sinks and outdoor faucets work without that attachment. It's worth pointing that out.

    Great Video, I guess the only trick is timing the fill so you can get to the bathroom and shut it off before the tank overflows, lol. But no doubt about it, this is the way to go, beats buckets by a long mile.

    you are a LIFE SAVER! I never knew about these and was about to spend a ton of money on buckets and a dolly so i could siphon the water into the buckets and then move the buckets with a dolly into my backyard and dump the water into the grass . Your siphon method is WAY better ! Thank you so much! I'm ordering one right now.
    your fish are so cute, that marble peacock cichilid is so funny. he is a very curious and active! I can tell you take good care of your fish. keep up the good work honey!

    EXCELLENT POINT CAMERON, ABOUT SHUTTING OFF THE WATER WHEN DRAINING THE TANK AND THE SIPHON EFFECT CONTINUES DRAINING THE TANK. IT'S PROBABLY A LOT SLOWER, BUT I WILL DEFINITELY TRY IT...LESS WATER BILL.

    I never put untreated water in my tank. you can really mess with the bacteria establishment, thus creating a bacteria bloom which is why your tank is slightly cloudy

    The aqueon water changer is amazing. Only thing I don't like much is that if you don't have extremely good water pressure it doesn't work. I just use the garden water hose, I bring it inside in order to have good pressure. Aside from that it is a great product.

      I just got this device. When the valve is set to take out water, is the faucet suppose to be on just like the video? Im just making sure because isnt the water running as well while taking out water, meaning its wasting water at the same time? Does this sound right? I have mine on off, but the suction is low.

    • @jesilynj5414
      @jesilynj5414 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is. That is what creates the suction.

    • @bumblesby
      @bumblesby 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jesilyn, You shouldn't use a standard garden hose to fill your tanks. They have toxic materials. Get a white hose that you would see for an RV. They are drinking water safe. You may be able to find them in the RV section at Walmart.
