Fantastic!! Please, some questions: -Can the front end of this be fit with lockable boxes like the 17? -Can an Onan Generator be permanently plumbed in one of the storage bays?
As someone who lives in Newfoundland it’s cool to see one of these being used here. Very limited options for these campers in NL let alone Canada. This trailer is on my short list of something I’d spend that kind of money on.
@ it’s pretty good we have a decent selection of parks. I currently have a truck bed tent so anywhere I can put my truck I’ll go. Our biggest hurdle is weather here on the Avalon it’s pretty unpredictable and my days of in a ground tent are over 😅
@ we have what’s called crown land. It’s sort of like your BLM in the US but anyone can camp on any crown land here. So in reality if you find a nice place with no private property signs it’s a safe bet you’re good to go. West coast of the province has some awesome spots to go
What a fantastic review by ROA. As a Tasmanian who owns an MDC XT16 EW (bought it in May 2024) I’m really proud of the fact that an Australian company makes these. My wife and I love ours. It’s funny….we thought all caravan manufacturers used articulated hitches and independent suspension. For some reason we just assumed that this was the standard. Once again a great review.😊
@@raymondthom1699 I love the true off-road trailers. You must be wealthy person to pay over $70 grand in cash. I know they’re worth it because they are built really well.
Cool to see feedback from people who put them through their paces with full timing.
This is the trailer I want to buy and go camping & traveling in.

Good to hear feedback from real people… interested to see how a trailer designed for Aussie conditions copes with the coldness of Alaska.

Love the comment! What’s the camping like in the area?

Any off-grid style camping? Park camping can be good fun too.

We may have to do an adventure up there sometime!
I’m curious. Could the bed be modified into a Murphy bed with a jackknife sofa underneath? THAT would be an AMAZING mod!!! 🙌🏼

Did you put money down?
@@Berrypancakes229 I certainly did. Paid cash and have taken it out on a number of trips. Great caravan.
