I've got a pet/hand hair dryer (super powerful) with electronic control of 8 fan speeds and 8 heat positions, one year ago and it's one of the best home appliances I've bought to use in my bathroom it's like a small horizontal cylindrical vacuum with the same articulated tube, but instead of sucking it blows really fast - in fact it dries anything, not just hair, for me any hair dryer now looks like a toy ;)
Dyson is nice but it has a lower wattage than ghd. And ghd is a professional tool so you have to use it carefully. Dyson is professional but it doesn't get nearly as hot which lowers its use on different hair types like textured hair. All the dyson hair dryer is basically is a pageant tool. Yes its cool and all nifty but it doesn't work for all hair types and has lower power. I don't understand why you having short hair would use high heat...

How does work with very curly and corse hair??? Like African or Latin hair...........being straight almost flat
