Same with tenor sax. For the longest time, I tried to find this piece. I remember playing it in high school over 20 years ago but couldn’t remember the title or composer. Now that I found it, I was a little disappointed it didn’t sound like I heard it in the band. My part is way overshadowed by the brass.
@@markusbrownicus01 ya brass overshadows a lot in recordings and songs, especially marches. Its kinda upsetting how no recording will ever sound like what it sounds like to be sitting in a band playing your instrument.

When you read the score it is a work of art. Incredible chords, incredibly well composed. The piece is a work of art like a painting by Rembrandt. Very well thought out and beautifully constructed. A masterpiece by Alfred Reed. Greetings from a fan from Holland.

There almost needs to be separate mixes available to replicate each section’s experience

アルフレｯドリード先生作品の中最高の名作ですねぇ‼️吹奏楽作品の中でブラバン人生一番聞き一番演奏した大好き💓♥️❤️な作品ですねぇ‼️曲の流れが基本に忠実なスバラシイ作品この曲何度演奏しても究極演奏出きない凄く奥深いフレーズ何度演奏しても完璧には程遠く凄すぎコンクールの課題曲の時も全国のいろんなバンドのきょくそうにたいする解釈がいろんな曲の雰囲気をかもし出しこの作品がいかに名曲名作であるかを物語ているとっても素晴らしい作品だと私は思いますアルフレｯドリード先生の吹奏楽に対する音楽哲学の結晶が凝縮されている作品基本に忠実凄すぎる名作中の名作だと私は思います大好きな作品ですね
