Personally all the music libraries i have seen ask at their submission form up to 5 tracks. It makes sense to send only 3-5 tracks to a library i think because you're going to seem spammy if you send like 10-15 tracks. If you work for a library then it would be logical to send that many but if you're just starting then 3-5 tracks would be the sweet spot to give them an Idea.

What about a "game show pack"? Rather than an album, what if you had a collection of stingers and pieces that all fit together for a tv show. Are those attractive?

fantastic advice, I have a couple of questions, does the exclusivity include music previously released on spoitify etc that is not being submitted to sync libraries and does the 10 tracks include different versions of the same track, ie different length versions, drumless versions etc? many thanks
No the exclusivity is only applied to the tracks you submit to the Library (they don't sign your entire catalogue unless you send it all to them). And the 10 tracks would EACH have their own alt-mixes (no leads, drum and bass only, etc.).

As long as Library specifically asked for you that. Otherwise that's a big gamble to put together in hopes that it's useful for a Library's clients.

Yes I've heard of them and I don't recommend them. That's effectively asking you to give up all your backend royalties.
