I am literally so happy right now. I managed to do it first try and actually did NOT get into 3 and a half crisis this time! It was not even one! Thank you so much for this tutorial. Never understood the magic ring, but this one is the best explanation I’ve seen so far.☃️
This is by far the easiest tutorial I’ve come across!! Everyone else says they’re beginner friendly but this is the only one where it looks possible and is!! Thank you
mc, ch4, 14dc, close ring, sl stitch in 3rd chain ch6, sc in 3rd chain from hook, hdc in next chain, dc in next, treble in last, sl stitch in 3rd dc on ring. repeat until 5 points ch1 & fasten off
As someone who isn’t really a beginner I found this tutorial great. Thank u for actually explaining what ur doing and not just speaking in tongues like some other creators
chain 6 skip to the third chain and do a single crochet next chain do half double crochet next chain do a double crochet last chain do a treble crochet skip two stitches on the bottom and do a slip stitch repeat
This is not only the easiest magic ring/circle tutorial I've ever watched but the easiest star tutorial as well! I love this video and will continue to watch it until I am able to make this star without guidance!
I really can’t thank you enough for this tutorial! I’ve tried 3 other tutorials and none of them made sense to me but this one was super easy and the result is super cute!!
Easy peasy, thank you. Have been crocheting for a long time but haven't made a star in forever, so thank you for the refresher. Someone gifted me some very lightweight glow in the dark yarn...using it for starts on my son's blanket. So for a very lightweight yarn I used a 2.75mm hook and it worked great.
Mine came out a bit uneven but for the 1st try, I loved this tutorial🤍 easy to understand and it turned out a crochet star isn't as hard as I thought ☆
Even though I did it with no problem thanks to your tutorial I can't believe someone would do this in 3 minutes. It's confusing and makes people think that they're taking way too long time to make that star. (at least me)🙊
You’re amazing at teaching this! I’m in love with my little star ⭐️ I just made, thank you ❤ I’m going to make a few more to decorate leg warmers I’m making for a friend - have a wonderful week, Gorgeous ❤ lots of love 🫶🏼💋
I had been watching other people do tutorials on these kinds of stars but they weren’t all that clear. This tutorial was so clear and easy to understand. Thank youu 🤍
This Is super cute and super easy to modify into a smaller Star by cutting out the 6th chain and the treble crochet so the points are a little bit shorter
Genuinely the best tutorial I’ve seen in three years of crocheting and learning primarily off TH-cam. Shows excellent mastery in not only crochet, but also teaching. I’ve never seen a more clear, well paced tutorial. Keep doing what you do. ❤
The point steps: Chain 6 Single crochet into the 3rd stitch from your hook Half double crochet Double crochet Single crochet to the Repeat for 4 more times
@@jnkluhver that’s not what I did lol. I swear it wasn’t treble but alright. I made so many stars using the thing I wrote and I didn’t use treble but maybe different country different terms?
So pretty and easy! Btw, of all the videos available on TH-cam, I find yours to be the most clear and easy to follow. I’m subscribed and eager to see what you come up with next. Thank you!

😊 I have been trying to find some thing that I could crochet along an extended chain to make a garland for my crochet decorated Christmas tree and this is a winner. Thank you so much.
I’m crocheting every star pattern I can find (free patterns 😂). This is my first star I’ve made. the creator of the pattern and where I found it will be in the beginning of the video. Thanks for all your support 😊 ❤
Any chance you have anything that shows step by step in screen shots? I am too slow and can't get TH-cam to pause fast enough, it's frustrating stopping and missing and having to go back.

Oh my God this is the most easiest star tutorial I’ve ever seen all the other tutorials. I struggled with the years is one of the best.
Finally, a magic circle demonstration that actually makes sense. Very easy to follow how to make the points of the star, too!
chain 6
skip to the third chain and do a single crochet
next chain do half double crochet
next chain do a double crochet
last chain do a treble crochet
skip two stitches on the bottom and do a slip stitch
repeat

Nice tutorial
Is there a written pattern anywhere?
very helpful, thanks !
how would I mak this into a large star about 15" by 15"
I just made ur star. Thanks
Fantastično. Thank you👍👍👍
You´re very welcome 😊
Thank you!!! Just finished making one
My only issue is that my points are floppy. I might need a denser yarn. But it turned out adorable.
THANK YOU SMMMMM
Thank you so much 🥰🥰
Thank you !
thank you sooo much
I don’t get it did all you said but mine doesn’t looks like yours i did it but when i pull the string it doesn’t work im still confused 😐
Guys what yarn is she using??
100 % cotton. Medium weight 4
there's a big gap between my fifth star point and the first one I made, as if there's supposed to be six. what am I doing wrong? :(
same problem, so I reduced the circle to 11 or 10 instead of 14 and it worked.
My points keep curling. I’ve tried different yarns but they all curl. What am I doing wrong?
you have to iron it
So 20 dbl crochet to scale up? Anyone scale up and down yet?
