Such as something as simple as a `large chunky model` that overlays on top of an existing model then just simply replacing the model entirely. -Take one of those `points` used for that `3D model` to just have a one anchor point specific of something the equilvency of a marshmallow to completely ditch it entirely without any other anchor points for the 3D model able to be seen at all so its like a giant mascot costume thrown on top of a character completely. Honestly if they actually had better braincells, they should be focused more on encrypting the files to prevent swapping them instead, but thats assuming they had any braincells to generate electricity in the first place.

You've increased the poly count and assigned THIRTEEN separate materials to it. Do you have any idea what that does to the number of render calls required to display it? Or how bad it'll look at distance? And for WHAT? So you can stop modders? WHAT modders? You have 756 peak players. Who is modding your game? Even if you DO have some, do you think they can't replace models? Or change the material colours?

@@FukkenGoogel That's actually normal. Working in quads is standard when modelling: they're triangulated on export. It's generally done because they deform more cleanly and shade better, although using them on a completely flat surface where neither of these things are an issue is a bit odd. The more obvious problem is they've added edge loops towards the right-hand edge of the flag that aren't needed at all. You'd add these if the flag were going to flap in the wind but I've SEEN where this asset is actually used and it's just static, pinned to a wall.
I suspect it'd end up being a "Hot Coffee" situation, they sold the game in a country that hates LGTV people, and someone "accessed it" with a mod, and whoops! they're getting sued in like 50 countries.

Take Mindustry for example, most mods add new content, some go a bit further and add a new planet, and some go *even* further and add cutscenes and new mechanics or features.
In every game the first easiest thing to mod is the textures, the second is models, and usually when you find a way to replace textures you also find how to replace the models in the same evening. Happy to see this cultists are this stupid. 👏

Honestly they forget how savy some people can be:
-Overlay objects/textures over other objects/textures. Such as something as simple as a `large chunky model` that overlays on top of an existing model then just simply replacing the model entirely.
-Take one of those `points` used for that `3D model` to just have a one anchor point specific of something the equilvency of a marshmallow to completely ditch it entirely without any other anchor points for the 3D model able to be seen at all so its like a giant mascot costume thrown on top of a character completely.
Honestly if they actually had better braincells, they should be focused more on encrypting the files to prevent swapping them instead, but thats assuming they had any braincells to generate electricity in the first place.

You've increased the poly count and assigned THIRTEEN separate materials to it. Do you have any idea what that does to the number of render calls required to display it? Or how bad it'll look at distance?
And for WHAT? So you can stop modders? WHAT modders? You have 756 peak players. Who is modding your game? Even if you DO have some, do you think they can't replace models? Or change the material colours?

@@FukkenGoogel That's actually normal. Working in quads is standard when modelling: they're triangulated on export. It's generally done because they deform more cleanly and shade better, although using them on a completely flat surface where neither of these things are an issue is a bit odd. The more obvious problem is they've added edge loops towards the right-hand edge of the flag that aren't needed at all. You'd add these if the flag were going to flap in the wind but I've SEEN where this asset is actually used and it's just static, pinned to a wall.

In every game the first easiest thing to mod is the textures, the second is models, and usually when you find a way to replace textures you also find how to replace the models in the same evening.
