Veteran Nashville singer/songwriter, Caryl Mack, has found her voice again. After taking a hiatus from the music biz, she is stepping back in with a seasoned perspective and rediscovering the simple JOY of singing and making music, curating a community of music makers and music appreciators.
Caryl recently returned to the recording studio working on a new collection of songs with husband and songwriter, Scott Parker, and their long time friend and writing partner, Ronn Chick. “This time around I wanted the music to have a little retro feel. I wanted it to feel familiar, comfortable. We took our time. We called our musician friends and top session players in Nashville. We pulled in elements from some of my favorite musical influences of the 70’s and 80’s seasoned with all the ingredients from my own personal musical journey.
The first single, “Landed on Love”, is a simple love song. It’s a light hearted look at falling in love. Falling means you gotta land somewhere. And when it’s in the arms of someone you love, it’s a great place to land.“
This was the last song we danced to a few weeks before my lovely wife of 52 years died. So this song is so special to me! Thank you!

Y'know? A lot of people seem to want to cover Neil Young tunes (because he is such a good songwriter, I suppose).
But damn few can bring a rendition this clean. Well done, all!

I listen to this cover several times a week. She has the soul and clarity of a Caren Carpenter . Smooth.

I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba where Neil Young cut his teeth in the music industry. He is about 3 years younger than me. There were so many like the Guess Who, with Randy Bachman & Burton Cummings who came from Winnipeg during that era. This song Harvest Moon was one of Neil's best renditions, it is perfect.

Lovely rendition of my favorite Neil Young song. I watched/listened to half of the video on my iPad and then I said to myself, I have to start from the beginning and listen to this on headphones. I am so glad that I did. I could better appreciate the wonderful vocals and pick out each instrument of the terrific band. And substituting accordion for harmonica turned out to be a treat.
