I have a question... 🤔 This device will only save SNES games in .prg format. The problem with it is that it cannot save natively, as like in battery backup saving on an actual cartridge. It doesn't support RAM dumping. I want to be able to load the savestates on PC emulators such as Snes9X. But it cannot recognize the .prg format. How do I go about fixing this?
I got this early 2022 when it first came out cause I wanted to do some handheld retro gaming. Anbernic devices were priced at 120-150 $ at the time so it seemed like a good choice. I moved on to bigger and better stuff since then but its a great cheap entry for the curious❤❤.. Pooooowkiddy!!!
Looks good for $29. The simple finish means it's easy to pocket and you won't be worrying about ruining a paint job or something. I don't play anything above PS1 games anyway so this is perfect.

Dude, help me if you can, I have an X39PRO, it was updated with the x39 update, it stopped working when I put it on the charger, it turns on and the screen goes white and then turns off and it just stays like that. already see
That console boots the OS from flash card, try replacing it with a memory card that you flash with a copy of the original system files. It should be online if you search for a bootable image.
Do the USB ports work? Russ had one a few months ago and he couldn't get them working. There's a guy called S1eepy here on You Tube who sounds like he's on the team working on the custom firmware for Data Frog AND the M17. He posted links to the alpha Data Frog firmware. Sounds like both the Data Frog and the M17 should have something soon. (That's a one, not an L in S1eepy)

I like it because it's pretty and I'm almost as shallow as that D-pad. I'm not smitten with only having one stick on something that can't run one stick consoles like Dreamcast and PSP. If it tops out at PS1 then it should have two sticks. Yeah, early PS1s didn't have sticks and as a result most of the library doesn't actually need them; but... I still like this thing though. That '90s Dodge Caravan purple is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
The thing about x39 (or x45) is: they are just old. Some time ago at that price they are a budget device. Today they are just lost. I have a x45 and it's a good machine to play some PS1, Mega Drive, GBA, neo geo (the best system here) and 8bits. SNES, tho, is a little messed up.
@@wolf07913 my choice is to use the m17, which is a bit cheaper depending on where you live, it almost has the same performance but lower battery, you can add a 3.7 volts 3000 mah batter to the m17. Plus the m17 has cfw offering more performance
honestly i found a 25 buck version + shipping but its cheap so i'm probably gonna go with it r36s is like 5 dollars more but imma buy a lot of them so 5 dollars is a big differnce if you buy 10 becauses that makes it a 50 dollar differnce
I don't get the objection to this device, it looks good, the emulation seems solid and it's cheap. Yeah that M17 thing might do a little more but it's ugly and the higher end emulation will be ropey.
Yeah I think for many this will be a good choice for the price point, I am comparing to the multitude of higher quality devices at similar or slightly higher price points. It sure does look and feel nice!

Every time you review a unit you should always have the top three in that price range like it's the Olympics. Then when you review the unit say at the end whether it replaces one of the top three or not. Also state if it comes with games and what they are and number in that rim set. And when you say at end it doesn't play this or that mention what will play this or that. Like if you say it doesn't play PS2 or doesn't have original Xbox Dreamcast and so on say what does. If I am looking for pizza and you tell me about chicken your video served me no purpose. If you are smart enough to listen to me you will grow exponentially. So many videos from like 30 of you that I watch everyday for two years now and none of you do it right. For example when you guys show either handhelds or mini PC or external hard drive or premade consoles none of you ever say when saying what it does when you say it doesn't have this or that you never say if you are looking for this particular thing this is the thing you want. We always at the end the video want to know what you think in your "opinion" what one is still the winner for playing fill in the blank. So many have the low end stuff. Obviously most of us are looking for the Dreamcast PS2 and so on so let us know what to buy to get that stuff in two categories one being what to buy if you know how to do it yourself and second what to get if we are clueless and just want it already set up thank you
