    "As I often remind fellow traders, it's essential to make the most of each market we enter. Right now, Bitcoin day trading is at a high point, and Coach Garrett Eaton’s insights have been incredibly valuable with his spot-on predictions. Definitely a 5-star guide!"

    I’ve traded for years. Never found consistency until I accepted the fact that I’m a scalper. I tried being a swing trader, the break and retest strategy, reversals, etc. But as it turns out it’s really hard to be correct over a long period on the market. It’s much easier to be correct for 10 seconds to a minute.

      @@Yanis.B557 I play off momentum and key levels but I use candle set ups that I’ve seen a million times to give me my entry/ exit point. Still far from perfect but if I can keep making several hundred a day I’m not going to complain.

      not only that but the longer the time frame, the larger your loss in order to know your trade assumption was not going to work out, ie the larger your stop loss, and the less precise your entries

I specifically enjoy when I watch one of your videos and realize it is something I had learned through great pains on my own. Wish I had watched the SMB video and saved myself all that pain. But, painful learning experiences obviously help a person develop winning trading strategies. I always look to your newest video releases as well as watching your video library. Keep them coming. I am not wild about his example of increasing the risk dollars every week based on 60% winners. What if, due to normal variation in probabilities, the trader wins only 20% one week? And actually, I am not wild about sitting glued to the screen in high focus search for a specific pattern to occur. Only a small portion of my trades are really daytrades, and I'm looking at a better batting average than 60%. And for me, it's not so much about micro-managing quick chart patterns as in overall evaluation of stock opportunities. But yes, I AM a chartist. I think I have a lot less stress than those at their screens in this video.

    What about pdt rule?

    • @smbcapital
      @smbcapital  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      we understand PDT rule can be a challenge for a lot of newer traders who have smaller accounts. It's definitely harder to trade scalps where you are in and out. If someone really wants to get to the 25K mark then sometimes you'll have to work harder and longer to earn more money. A second job is sometimes necessary or you will have to slowly build up your trading account.

      Dude im almost in tears, there's literally in-video examples of scalps on one minute charts that last sub ten minutes.
      It has nothing to do with the size of the move, it has everything to do with the duration.
      Which can actually be learned by googling what scalping is and watching the basic as hell guide written by experts in the topic.
      Stay innefficnet friends. Now I understand why this job is so easy

      @@Sawksle Yea, scalping full-time is the only typing of trading I do. It's so easy to be profitable with spy scalps. My scalps are usually closer to .20 to .30 moves. Once you stare at enough charts, you build market intuition.

      I get it. 10 trades a week at ten percent ($100) of his daily limit ($1000). Then 4 losses ($400) and 6 wins of 1/2 risk reward ratio is... 200 reward x 6 winning trades out of the ten = $1200....so he nets $800.
