Hey mate what are the brand of your mesh used and where can I find then? Would be nice if you put your tools used in the description.
Nice build, i’m building one of these on my own, lots of gaps and issues to fix! Not an easy kit, bit beautiful model after all!

yes, that was not an easy kit, lot of issues. I did not right understand which mesh you meant ? for flocking? tea infuser

Scaleauto shop sorry, its the micro mesh you used to polish, the abrasive fine pads (before using the compounds)...

Of call your builds so far this one has impressed me the most. Your masking skills are amazing. I know this is an older kit too so the engineering isn't all that great. You had to fix a lot of things.

Reminds me of the Testors/Bburago Diablo I built in the early 1990s, yellow diecast body, flocked interior, opening doors and bonnet. Loved that model, and always liked the more subdued look of the Diablo compared to the later Countach models and everything that came afterwards.

Oh yea also what did you use on the panel lines? Which panel line scriber do you reccomend? Thank you! Grate build!

in my case tamiya panel liner black, you can also use enamel paint diluted with turpentine or white-spirit (AK has odourless thinner). I tested a lot of scribers, all of them mostly fit (blade thickness up to 0,2mm gives 5mm in 1:1 scale)

Okay, awesome looking build. However, at 5:09 in the video you taped the entire body so you could shoot your black trim. If I had done that it would’ve left tape marks all over it. What do you do to keep that from happening? Dry time, mix ratio, etc? That is one area where I am struggling. The only time it doesn’t happen is if I use a three part clear. Anytime I’ve used a single stage clear like that is when I get into trouble. There’s got to be a step I’m missing.

It depends on the type of coating. from my experience:
If it's 2K clearcoat, mr hobby clear, tamiya LP clear - ok (of course wait a day)
If it is a lacquer paint (like tamiya LP, mr color) - ok
If it is an acrylic matt - still ok
If it is acrylic gloss or enamel - not ok

Usually i use 400 then 800, but if you apply then primer microfiller (mr surfacer 500 for example), is enough 400 because microfiller gives about 500-600 roughness.
