I am facing this problem right now. And i planned to change my battery tomorrow. But by gods grace, i accidentally found this video. And checked it on my bike. Yes, the problem was with my amp meter.

I am facing this issue from last 4 months. Mostly in night time my horn never works when lights are on. Work better in day time. Each time I checked the battery it was good. Even the RE service personnel says to change the battery but I didn't. Bro u are great, will check this solution if that will fix my problem

Very useful info for bulletiers. Clear case of manufacturing flaw, in fact RE should replace this under warranty though the cost of new metre is negligible, because in older model bullets this failure never occurred, ask any old bullet owner on this issue.
The rating of the coil is not sufficient to handle the load.

I was having similar issue with my 2016 Classic 350. Yesterday I tried disconnecting the horns to see if its horn issue but, couldn't find anything. Your video gave me another troubleshooting step. I'll give this a try in my bike and see if it solves the issue I'm having. Thank you very much for this video.
If I may suggest, Please add "no horn" "dim headlight" or similar keywords to your video title so that people searching for those keywords will come across your video.

Sounds like a bad ground/battery connectio or a excessive shunt in the ammeter due to a short, or loose ammeter connection. This is my reaction before watching the whole video. I might be wrong though.
Excellent work by NCR here. Since ammeter is in series, a loose connection in the ammeter creates a high resistance and a high voltage drop. So the self and the accessories don't get sufficient voltage.
Low shunt resistance will allow high current through the ammeter, overheating it.

Hi.. Rumi... Already amp meter change kiyaa wiring bhi ki jaisey tumney bataaya.... For bhi same problem... Iss baar air filter kaa pipe fataa thaa.... Gaadi Chalaa k dekhi... Ab result k liye rukaa hun... Problem office Jaaney K time bich rastey may hoti hai.... Office late.... Tow karney may bhi taklif.... Gaadi bich rastey may chod di toh traffic police uthaa k impound kartey hai.... Bohot taklif hoti hai.... But thanks once again for the vdo
