One of the Titles being an exception where an 8 bit game is actually beating up it's 16 bit port on two different consoles. Totally one of the marvels of the NES/FC platform, pushing the console itself to it's bare limits.
One of my old neighbours had this game for his NES back in the early 1990's. The game was hard and frustrating 😹, but i did finish it couple of times 😹😺👍🕹️. This was also the only BATMAN game, i have ever played on any game console. Actually, before this, i have played BATMAN: THE MOVIE on my Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️. A big retrospective like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
7:24 "LOOK AT THIS PANDEMONIUM!! There's a ceiling waiting to come down & kill me! There's a guy throwing an oil drum! If I try getting outta the way, I get hit by these rotating blades & sh*t!"
This game would've made Nintendo fans that didn't give in and buy a Genesis very happy while they wait for the SNES to come out. What other good NES titles came out in this time period?
I know a few. Metal Storm, Gun-Nac, Adventures of Lolo 3, Little Mermaid, Talespin, Whomp 'Em, Rainbow Islands and Power Blade. I would say Battletoads but EVERYBODY knows that one...
The good one that I never played during childhood back in 1991 but then I did recently via Emulator and liked it despite being very challenging… Hopefully “Batman Returns” (1993 SNES Version) is next or that’s been posted long time ago.
I would love to see someone like infidelity port this over to SNES and then have some rom hacker go in and add 16-bit colour for the ultimate version of this pretty dany awesome game. :D
Wow. Compared to 1, this was annoying garbage. Its like they took elements of castlevania, festers quest and contra, then slapped a batman costume onto it.
The graphical evolution from the original game to this one is remarkable. Sunsoft was really pushing the console to the max. Those were the days.

Some of the best graphics on the NES. That said, I don’t know about the Batgun.
“I AM THE NIGHT!”
This was some of the best graphics on the NES. I love the Batgun. "I AM THE NIGHT!" Also nothing beats old games like this it brings so much memories
Incredible technical showcase for the NES. Not so sure about the gameplay tho.

AVGN: But HE can still shoot through! THAT'S NOT FAIR!
Is there a lore reason why man can't shoot through?
is he stupid?
At 2:25 and especially at 2:40, you can see the player making Batman dance to the music just like AVGN did :)

Um dos melhores jogos de Nintendinho. 🦇
This game always reminds me of the Angry Video Game Nerd's Batman games episode! Talk about sweet nostalgia! How do you break these damn gargoyles?
This was £40 when it first came out.
