Thanks! I was thinking the same thing before I picked up my QX and figured I'd try and get some helpful content out there for all the 1st Gen QX and Armada owners.
@@projectsadventuresandrevie2386 yeah I appreciate it I picked up my QX56 last year so far installed adjustable bilstiens all new front end components haven't changed rear air yet.. looking for a good set of off-road tires and or rims/tires.. if your ever in the new England area let's do some offroading man!!
@@projectsadventuresandrevie2386 also surprised to see 4-lo actually make a big difference. I heard the 4wd system has the abs type locker "thing" but it takes awhile to kick in and hitting the brakes basically stops it from engaging never tried it though. From what I heard they say just stay in the throttle and it'll kick it... Then again I wouldn't know from experience it's not a real locker but their attempt at making this thing off-road capable.. well hope to see some more stuff I'll post this channel in the forums on FB and let other owners know!
Thanks, definitely not a lot of QX or Armada content out there...very capable platform but with its many common issues that hopefully I can help others remedy themselves.
ARB makes a rear air locker for this rigs, they need to know your gear ratio. I haven't purchased it yet but will be soon. Reach out to Steven @ Ruggedrocks.com
Hey Nauman, on my 2006 QX56 it has the center diff lock as you can see in my 2nd video where I engage 4Lo and was able to get up that obstacle and the wheel with less contact still spins. Also if you do a search you'll find specs on this as I'll paste here: 4x4 on-demand (All Mode 4WD, front engaged automatically when rear wheels slipping is detected, wet multi-plate clutch in the center differential, 50/50-0/100 torque distribution, 2WD, auto or lock mode), transfer case 2.59/1, automatic 5-speed gearbox
Its automatic once you put it in 4 Low then it uses the brakes to distribute power to the wheel that's not slipping. i got high centered once and saw the system working its amazing to watch
These have auto mode where if rear wheels slip then front wheels kick in, not too sure if 2008 is any different then my 2006 but this is how the 1st gens work
That's my next project, I already have a "non big tow" set of rear springs with 1.5" coil lift, bilstein 4600 shocks, shock extenders and Firestone coil rite air bags. Just trying to find the time to get her done and record everything. You have good content on this vehicle too!

Finally some qx content damn it took awhile!! Happy to see it though

Отличное видео! Спасибо большое! Ты единственный кто показал правильно как работают все режимы трансмиссии.

Beautifully done
What percent tints on those factory 20 In the back ?
You should have been in 4lo as soon as you began that obstacle unless it was just for edification
Just for edification, actually could've made it up in auto if i added some speed
Where did you get lockers for this truck. I have the same truck and I've been trying to get lockers. Thanks!!

I have a qx56 2005 but I don’t think i have central diff lock option, how do you turn it on? Or is it automatic with 4lo? Please let me know thanksss

Can my 2008 Infiniti QX56 have all wheel drive and optional four-wheel drive in the same vehicle
These have auto mode where if rear wheels slip then front wheels kick in, not too sure if 2008 is any different then my 2006 but this is how the 1st gens work
Надо ещё заднюю часть машины поднять. Чтобы она ровно стояла и под машиной больше места будет

Is 10.2 inches clearance not enough?
@@ioanfilip3586 stock height rubs on simplest trails due to the length of this vehicle. 10" clearance on a shorter vehicle is perfect.
Hola saludos yo tengo una año 2011 pregunta.¿se le puede poner llanta 35 x12.5R20?
Si va tallar un poco. Yo le quite unas 20x12 a mi Silverado y se las puse a la qx56
What size are those tires?
275/70/18
Auto 4x4 is more of all wheel drive - same as Ford’s automatic 4x4.
