@@user-vf7fw6hv3t the key with AQA is to highlight things in the syllabus that have never come up before. For example in paper 2 me and my classmates realised that the proof for the kinetic theory model had never come up before in old exam papers so we revised it a lot and it was the first question in 2023 paper 2 ;)

I did these papers last year. The 3A was like nothing I'd seen before! Hardest one since the new exams started. I was feeling so prepared after using all available resources and your papers! It was so disheartening it was horrible to feel so lost in an exam I'd worked so hard for. Glad they're doing something about it.

Just to put into perspective how hard paper 3a is, I did my exams last year and got an A overall, but a D somehow in paper 3a. And no it was not a bad day of exam, because we did paper 3b (turning points) at the same time in which got an A*.

im planning to sit physics next year, i work from home independently using your videos and have already covered a fair range of a level topics (as i did do half of yr12 in sixth form before leaving for personal reasons). im not sure which exam board to enter myself into, as i dont know if it does matter, and if it does matter what are they key pros and cons of each? for a bit extra background and information i achieved a grade average of 8 at gcse, and am also doing a level maths (sitting this year) and then physics , psychology and further maths the following year. i was an a* student at sixth form in all my subjects and have a deep interest in physics and maths outside of school. i hopefully want to go to oxford or cambridge but we shall see how that goes. my main interests are in maths and theoretical physics as well as astrophysics. and yeah just wanted some feedback and help on deciding. thank you in advance for if you get back to me :)

You can normally tell if you go on the student room straight after the exam is over. The people on there are some of the smartest students in the country so if they are complaining about the exam then chances are that it was very difficult for everyone else too and the grade boundaries will be low. If they found it “easy” then grade boundaries will likely be standard, i.e similar to the 2019 grade boundaries.
