No matter what, he either ends up dead, or stuck inside a vessel incapable of feeling any positive emotions. Asriel's story is so depressing to me.
Man this is so sweet, and sad but in a good way. I love how you matched the art to the lyrics, with different emotions (for example - like "you and I will always be back then" for Toriel and Sans' friendship starting out in both worlds being heartwarming, but also for the contrast of Asgore as a dad and his war declaration making it feel like something he'll never move past like in Undertale, and also for the friendship of the three humans with Asriel/Flowey for max bittersweetness). At first I was curious why you had Frisk as the "will happen"/future one and Kris as the "happening"/present one, since Deltarune is the one that is still going on, but I think it was because Frisk is the one in the far future, since they arrived at least 100 years after Chara died if not even further off, where Kris is closer to Chara's time (202X compared to 201X), making them more the "modern-time" human. Anyway! The song was really well-chosen and made me tear up with your art, and all the pictures were well-done and evocative, and I love the range in emotion and thoughts they made me have. You did a wonderful job, thank you for making this!

“if there was some amazing force outside of time to take us back to where we were..” this song is literally PERFECT for undertale! seriously tho, this video is amazing! it’s so bittersweet and lovely, the art (and specifically you art style) is great and really fitting for these kind of sad/happy things! i can’t tell you how much i LOVE this video, the song, the themes, everything oh, and the symbols for each human (of KFC gang)? that frame is prob my favorite
