As a former Cowboys fan when Danny White left in 1987... I became a Seahawks fan. What got my attention was the culture and how electric this teams was, but more so how everyone always overlooked them and talked down about the team. Jim Zorn caught my eye along with Steve Largent and Shaun Alexander... man I've never looked back after that. It's about to be 2022 and still holding on to my HAWKS!
Just attended my first Seahawks game at CenturyLink Field for my birthday last Thursday against the Rams. We had a similar scenario unfold in the last drive. A false start penalty, delay of game, and missed field goal that ended up saving the game for a Seahawks win. It was unreal. There’s nothing like it! I’ll always remember that feeling for as long as I live. I was a 12 before, now I’m official. Go Hawks! 💙💚

And that's what I love this team for. I might've not known football at that time, but this 12th Man mentality immediately caught me. Thanks to this mentality I went out to see the Hawks play in London for the first time. And I can't wait to finally get to see them play in Seattle. Much love from Germany and thanks to all the amazing people that make the Seahawks what they are, open genuine people that hug each other and celebrate each other even though they have never seen each other before. Go Hawks!

2005 was a special season for Seattle. I was convinced Seattle going to the Superbowl vs Philly on the Monday night massacre. This Giants game was literally won by the fans. Jay Feeley missed 3 fgs as Josh Brown won the game in ot. I'll never forget this game.

We both commented on it that we hoped it didn't come down to field goals, but if it does, we were glad he wasn't on the Seahawks. That was before the game even started we saw that. Beyond just the 11 false starts, there was one series, where they had five false starts in a 3 and out. I've been to many metal shows, and my ears have never rang as bad after a concert as they did after that game. Voice was gone for over a day. Great video but failed to mention the Giants filed a formal complaint with the NFL after this game, accusing the Seahawks of “piping in” fake crowd noise. The NFL did an investigation and found no evidence of generating false noise, the giants silent count just sucked that bad.

Thank you Joshua, I really appreciate it. I enjoy the hell out of making these videos and the spirit of the 12th man online has been so overwhelmingly positive and kind in their reaction. I had a chance to be in New York during the Super Bowl, but sadly missed the parade, which I'm still kicking myself for. What a party and sight that must have been.
I found it interesting that our great year, OUR bowl, there was nearly no mention on the fact that BOTH Manning brothers were beat in the same stadium, the same season, by the same quarterback, and nearly shut BOTH teams out! I remember talking to this grocery clerk "what's your prediction of the game?" My reply was "Deisregard the numbers, but if you look closely to them they'll tell you this, should Seattle fall to the Donkeys, it will be a damn close game. My bet though is that Peyton, unlike his brother, where he may have the better stats is not as complete as his brother and is often ego driven. Eli proved that he can get beat, make mistakes and still get his head back in the game. Peyton, on the other hand, one mistake, break down his ego, and he is out of the game. He didn't have it as much when he was with the Colts, that's why I say ego. He's good, but one mistake and Seahawks nation will flat destroy him." When I went back to that grocery store later that month, that kid was laughing still....so was I
I was at the first game where a penalty was thrown against the crowd. It was against the Atlanta falcons, and we stopped the game for 15 minutes. the nexzt year is when they passed the crowd noise rule.

I went to a game once in a season tickets holder seat. Me and my 12 year old son. There were an old couple in front of us. midway thru the 2nd quarter, the old lady turned to us and began to chastise us for the noise we were making. The whole section was rocking yet she wanted to yell at us. I told her, this is the seahawks stadium, its always loud, and if she didnt like it, then leave. So they left. incredible. I couldnt get a ticket to this game. but my whole family yelled the roof off at home. our neighborhood was also very loud. Still is as a matter of fact, every sunday when the Hawks are playing.
My brother brought me a chunk of concrete for Christmas. Lol. He was there. He also brought me a chunk of the World Trade Center. He was there too. He's a trucker. Enjoy!

If you haven't lost your voice at the stadium, you haven't yet had the entire 12th man experience. I wasn't at the game, but your collective crowd volume was coming through even the TV. Always Hawks for life! Thanks for watching, Grant!
I threw the football to a new little known Seahawks wide receiver named Steve Largent at their training camp in Kirkland when he was traded to the hawks after being cut by Houston after the 1976 preseason. Didn't get an autograph or signed anything & that 4th rd rookie went on to be one of the top 100 players of all time in the NFL playing his entire 14yr career with Seattle & being the GOAT in Seahawks sports history.
Where did you find that music video of the 12s from the 1980s. The one with the lyric "pays top dollar to hoop and holler and let off a little steam" It's soo good!! would love to see that full video
I was a SEAHAWK fan INSIDE THE KINGDOME, for about 100 games, and ONE GAME we got penalized because we warned by the refs to shut up, and we just GOT LOUDER ! That was in the 1980's I think........ this was maybe more famous.
I was hoping I could find some footage of the ref's calling those penalties on the fans, but I guess the NFL has scrubbed those off TH-cam. That would be gold to find some of that game tape. And you're right, it only made the 12th man louder when the refs through the flags.
I was At my sons friends Birthday party at a bowling ally lol The Whole party shifted to little tv screens around the ally ( no wifi or phones available ) we all cheered lost hope and rallied together!!! When we won.... we lost our minds!!! I think the kids name was brandon lol
Nice, the kid's name was Brandon. See, that's kismet. Lol. This was just one of those games that really stuck with you. We had seen our fans impact the games before was this was next level. Thanks for watching Raindeer.
Thank you for doing a history education video for misinformed fans around the NFL that the 12thh man just came out on 2013...Kingdome is where it started!!!... GO HAWKS!!! Note to bandwagoners in other NFL teams...Kingdome was always packed back then!!!... #emeraldcitytruth
Its funny how the other teams fans say"the Kingdome was always empty." Fair weather... The fans are why I fell in love with the Hawks. Yes , during the 7-9 season. This game and let's not talk about #BeastQuake
It was one of the things that drove me to make this video, turtle19dad. Seahawks fans get this bandwagon tag sometimes. They ignore the chaos we caused in the 80's and how quickly we embraced that fledgling expansion franchise. But people love to get stuck on their narratives. Thanks for watching!
You're totally right, I did forget that. I eventually plan on doing the Beastquake game as part of my Great Moments series, but I'll eventually do the remastered version of this video, and will be sure to include its mention. It should be included on a video covering the 12th man. Thanks for watching, Paul!
I agree with your order. Thank God Paul Allen was a football fan. His contribution should never be forgotten by Seahawk fans. Thanks for watching, Eddison!
Hi Seahawksinfo, I don't want to be curmudgeons, and I'm so glad you liked the video but I would refer my channel to be the only place for this video on youtube. It is by far the most watched video I have, and and a big part of how I capture new subscribers back to my channel. I know you said you would give me credit, but folks don't often get back to the description or source on these videos that get multi-posted, and essentially the re-poster gets the credit and subs and the person who made the video is sometimes left in the dark. I do have a video idea for you though that might be right up your channel's alley. Just checked your stuff out by the way. Hit me up on twitter or here.

We have the Number 12 shoe charms ready to go in acid green and blue. Go Hawks!
Amazing video. GoHawks!
Let's get it done Hawks!

Where did you find that music video of the 12s from the 1980s. The one with the lyric "pays top dollar to hoop and holler and let off a little steam" It's soo good!! would love to see that full video
I got you, Dominic. Thanks for watching!

Go hawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was at this game as a 5 year old little kid :)
I'm super jealous, Miles. It must have been so much fun to be a part of that experience. Thanks for watching.
Don't ban the 12th maaan!
That song tho.
My pleasure, James. It was really fun putting it together. Thanks so much for watching. Go Hawks!
ON THAT SPECIFIC DAY, IT WAS QUEST FIELD
Love this
LETS GO HAWKS
Watched this game from a hotel in Redmond where my boss put me up when my car broke down.
Go Hawks
Its funny how the other teams fans say"the Kingdome was always empty." Fair weather... The fans are why I fell in love with the Hawks. Yes , during the 7-9 season. This game and let's not talk about #BeastQuake
It was one of the things that drove me to make this video, turtle19dad. Seahawks fans get this bandwagon tag sometimes. They ignore the chaos we caused in the 80's and how quickly we embraced that fledgling expansion franchise. But people love to get stuck on their narratives. Thanks for watching!
@@TheHawksNest12thman and I remember watching the games at the Kingdome where the refs penalized the crowd.
@@TheHawksNest12thman my family has had season tickets for the Hawks since the Kingdome. He is the "Phantom of the Hawkera".South End Zone.
11:06 why is Tiki Barber holding our trophy!?
You forgot to mention Monday night football, December 2, 2013 when the crowd was so loud, it registered as a small earthquake
You're totally right, I did forget that. I eventually plan on doing the Beastquake game as part of my Great Moments series, but I'll eventually do the remastered version of this video, and will be sure to include its mention. It should be included on a video covering the 12th man. Thanks for watching, Paul!
Could you Imagine if the Bears would of had Lynch? They could have gave Mr.Gould a break from scoring all the points and possibly a Super Bowl win.
I was there!
This iis were lt happend!
lol holy shit that song at 2:25
The greatest moment in Hawks history is when Paul Allen, RIP, bought the the franchise. Winning the SB, is second. Go Hawks
I agree with your order. Thank God Paul Allen was a football fan. His contribution should never be forgotten by Seahawk fans. Thanks for watching, Eddison!
I was there.
Hey man can I repost this video on my channel I will give you all the credit I just love the video.
GO DAWGS!!!
Go Dawgs!
@@TheHawksNest12thman don't forget the mariners and kraken to hopefully one of these days a basketball team to

No team will EVER come close to as being as electric as us I’m 13 and I’ve only been to one game and WE (as in all of us as one) lost but it didn’t matter we where just as loud as a Super Bowl game it had no effect on the crowd WE are here for football not to win
